I knew that I was going to be blessed someday, but I didn't expect to get blessed so soon. I don't think I have done anything special to prepare for the Blessing. I just have done what I am supposed to do and have kept from doing what I am not supposed to do.

On April 9, I got a call from Peter Kim about 3 a.m. He told me that a matching was going to take place, so I flew to Korea that day. At the matching, when my turn came, Father didn't call my name first. At one point he asked questions of several of the blessed children; suddenly he called Dr. Pak over and asked him whether he'd like his daughter Yun Sook to get blessed this time. Then Father called my name, and it was done.

I knew Yun Sook a little from the blessed children's workshop, but I've rarely talked with her. She was not present at the matching; she came to Korea the evening of the next day, April 10. Between the matching and the blessing, my mother-in-law took me shopping to buy clothes. And on April 11 we participated in Un Jin Nim's wedding.

When Father spoke to us at the engagement ceremony, one of the things he said was that your body is not for yourself but for your spouse, while your spouse's body is meant for you.

My parents have done a lot for me. They have constantly given me good advice on the Principle way of life and have always prayed for me. By receiving their love and observing their way of life, I have learned many things directly about the Principle. In that way I could keep myself pure so that I could be blessed at this time.
