Around 120 members of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) headquarters team and other organizational staff members gathered at the Cheon Jeong Gung [Peace Palace] in Chung Pyung, Gapyeong, Korea for True Mother's Hoon Dok Hae on August 15, 2013.

True Mother entered the Hoon Dok Hae room at 6:00 a.m. After the participants bowed to True Mother, Mrs. Won Ju Jeong, True Mother's personal assistant, read from the new Cheon Seong Gyeong.

After the Hoon Dok Hae, True Mother spoke to the participants and said, "You have responsibilities, right? We heard Father's desperate prayer once again. Is there anything that touched your heart? You should not have to owe to your descendants. Whatever responsibilities you have right now, it has to be done in your generation, and you should stand on a place that you can say, 'I completed God's will.'" I did it. In 1960, I was young, but I did do it. I was able to complete the indemnity for the restoration of history.

"Now, there are not that many days left until the one-year anniversary of Father's Seonghwa. It's been six months since we proclaimed Foundation Day and inaugurated Cheon Il Guk. What kind of resolve did you make for God? You have heard lots of things that Father talked about to you. You heard how the blessed families should go forward. It is clear that whether your tribe and descendants will live in a happy and free world depends on how you fulfill your responsibilities.

For your generation the foundation has been made. But the substantiation of the [Korean] national restoration and world restoration depends on how you create the proper environment around you. A new era is opened in which you need not only read the words but also put them into practice.

"I said to you to gather at 6:00 a.m. today so we can scientifically and efficiently set our biorhythm and internal clock in order to give 100 percent, no, 120 percent of ourselves to God. Therefore, I let you sleep one more hour. I asked you to gather at 6:00 a.m. instead of 5:00 a.m. Do you think it was a good idea? [Yes] Do you appreciate it? [Yes] Some people may say "Father said 5:00 a.m., but Mother says 6:00 a.m. She changed it." But you know that these changes are for you, right? It is all done in order for us to walk together. That's True Parents' true love. Do you understand?"

When True Mother's speech concluded, Dr. Chang Shik Yang gave a report. Dr. Yang reported the topic of the interviews he did for the media coverage about Father's Seonghwa. He also reported about what the church should do to prepare for the special events for the Seonghwa anniversary.
