Why God doesn’t intervene with unprincipled acts

The Words in the title of my sermon this morning are household Words to us but no one else can understand this language! Today we are talking about history in terms of salvation. Very few people know the real meaning of salvation, which has been hidden in God’s Heart. The reason that only God knows is that man fell before he learned the Truth, before he had a chance to know about this. Throughout history, God’s most elementary job has been to educate people and liberate them from their ignorance.

Even if we know the Truth, however, we still can’t have salvation without fulfilling certain conditions. Ever since the fall of man, the reality here on earth has been completely contrary to God’s own wishes: therefore, without paying the debts of history, man can’t come out of that position.

We can take an example; a person who commits a crime and is sent to prison can’t come out again until he has made restitution for his crime. Until he clears away his past misdeeds, he will not be freed. This kind of indemnification used so frequently in society must also be done to rectify the crimes mankind has committed in the past.

God’s argument is this: “Satan, when man was originally created you couldn’t even put one finger on him.” Then Satan will reply, “God, I already knew that: however, You made a rule that once someone is governed by love that relationship can go on for eternity. I won man by love, even though it was illicit love, so our relationship has to be eternal.” But God will argue back, “Satan, I created mankind and they are My Children. You took them away by an illicit relationship.” God is speaking out of Truth but Satan is also basing his argument on Principle.

God and Satan had to compromise and the decision was finally made that whomever man loved most would win him thus, in order to come to God’ side, man must make a condition to separate himself from Satan and come back to God by his own will. This is important: it’s not by force but by his own will that man can return to God’ side. Satan agreed that God could have man only when man Loved God more than he loved anything else.

Then they argued about the length of time. God said, “Let’s give them a one-year condition.” Satan insisted it had to be 10 years. Finally, they compromised by agreeing not to talk about time but only about which side man loved most. The standard of love alone would determine everything then Satan said, “God, you don’t mind giving man a hard time. I can give as much as 10 years hardship condensed into one year” then God gave him the go ahead.

Ever since that treaty was made between God and Satan, any man who attempts to return to God has to overcome Satan’s tests, trial and tribulation. This is why anyone living a truly religious life has had to face the desperate bottom of human existence, the place where a person could even die. This is why Satan was successful in defeating many good people: because they couldn’t withstand such hardship, they surrendered to Satan. For a person to be victorious, he must go through several stages to reach the final goal. No one can jump from the lowest place to the top in one jump. Everyone has to go by certain steps.

We begin our journey as a servant of servants then we are promoted to servant, promoted to adopted son, become True Son and finally become ruler of the universe. On every level certain conditions must be set. You must pay certain indemnity as a servant of servants in order to escape and go to the next level. Actually, according to Principle, God can’t directly deal with the position of servant of servants because the AA was the servant of God. Furthermore, the servant is the angel, so when you start out as servant of servant, Satan can treat you any way he wishes: you can’t have any will of your own. The servant of servant position was passed down unfulfilled from Adam and Eve, to Cain and Abel, to Noah and finally to Abraham. In Abraham’s time, history finally advanced from the level of servant of servant to the servant level…

It’s your responsibility to distinguish Truth from falsehood: don’t expect that God will teach you. If God were to teach the Truth, He would have to turn around and say it was false. Accordingly, human beings must discern the Truth on their own. They must be determined to seek it on their own and find it on their own. In the life of faith, you absolutely can’t remain a bystander. You think you can follow me, Rev Moon but you can’t lead your life of faith through me: you must find it in yourself. Regardless of what others do, you have to keep on the path of faith by your own will. (153:136, November 15, 1963)

…What did God teach me when I was a boy? Do you know what a hard time God gave me? Step by step I had to verify for myself the 2 fundamental axioms: love passes through the shortest distance and the origin of the universe is the father-son relationship then from these 2 Truths I had to work out everything else. I had to elucidate the Truths of the world of the Principle from this new starting-point: the original father-son relationship that has nothing to do with the lineage of the secular world. Hence, I couldn’t understand anything without knowing the particulars of the human fall. Now I have uncovered the origin and from it, I have revealed the law of the universe, the Heavenly law. …God has been merciless to me. God opposed me every step of the way as I climbed up from the very bottom. Yet I endured it all because I knew that without me, God would be all alone. I passed all the tests and now God believes in me: it’s the same with you. If a doctoral candidate writes an excellent dissertation then his professor will say, “You have taught me something new: now you are my teacher.” The professor and all his colleagues will approve of you and even boast about you. Will you do likewise, so I will be able to praise you through all the ages? (320:250, April 16, 2000)

What kind of person does God call? Not someone who has a good character externally or a strong belief internally but a person who has Truth. Though seemingly weak, that person has a sword of love and a loving heart, so that when confronted with hardships he or she can cut through them and continue. Unless we become this kind of person, we can’t go toward our mission’s destination and can’t be acknowledged for having gone that path that’s uniquely ours to go in front of the Being who called us…Nobody taught me anything. I discovered it for myself and systematized it. I caught hold of it and put it in my pocket. It sounds like a dream. God wasn’t a loving God toward me. He was cold-hearted, merciless. He never sympathized with me. If He had, Satan would have interfered: that’s the difficult thing. I had to uncover everything and systematize it…

Due to the human fall, Satan tramples upon human beings and dominates the whole earth. To turn this situation around, we need to employ the Principle of indemnity. Since Satan treated human beings with contempt, human beings should win Satan’s respect and deference. They should do this by themselves, without the help of Jesus, the Holy Spirit or God. Whatever sinful condition Satan presents them with, they should be able to overcome it. Only then can human beings become God’s Victorious Sons and Daughters.

Likewise, you must face the fact that God will not help you directly. Instead, you will encounter terrible difficulties and feel completely helpless. You will think that although you deserve God’s help, God is nowhere near you and doesn’t help you at all: however, if you overcome that trial, God’s help will surely arrive, although indirectly. The way of God’s Will

Even God doesn’t tell you what’s good and what’s evil. Sometimes He may tell you that something is right but at other times He may tell you that it’s wrong: therefore, you yourself should discover what’s good and evil.

What makes Mr. Moon think he is the Messiah?

The True Man must know the Truth and by the Truth he must attain a God-like personality. He must live the Truth and must be able to subjugate Satan by the Truth. If he doesn’t have the personality perfectly in accordance with the Truth then he can’t subjugate Satan. After he achieves that personality, his heart must become one with God’s Heart. With this Truth and this personality, he must become the center of the spiritual and physical worlds. Standing in this central position, he would be able to feel God’s Heart and become one with Him. In becoming one with God, he could know the exact feeling of God, why He created the world and the purpose of His creation. He could feel God’s desire, hope and Love in creating mankind and the world.

As you studied in the Principle, A&E fell at the top of the Growth Stage. In this stage, man lost God’s Word. Man was created by God’s Word and by the fall of man, the Word was lost. Truth was lost in the Growth Stage. So, in this stage the Word must be recovered. Truth must be discovered. When Adam and Eve fell, God couldn’t interfere with their fall because they were still imperfect, still in the stage of the Indirect Dominion. In finding the Truth, I couldn’t be told because I was still in the Indirect Dominion. I had to discover the Word by myself. God couldn’t reveal or teach me. Until you reach the top of the Growth Stage, the point where Adam fell, spirits can teach you. Since Adam had already reached that point by himself, spirits can help you with any problem but after you reach this stage, you are left alone: God will not teach you. You must find by yourself.

Around 2010 TF declared that it wasn’t God who acted in the Old Testament but Angels or AA in behalf of God. As a Parent, Heavenly Parent would never behave as Jehovah of Yahve who are indeed Angels or AA. As stated in the above speech, “God can’t directly deal with the position of servant of servants because the AA was the servant of God”.

God’s Ideal, Concepts, Principle and Laws are eternal especially the spiritual world.

God must educate fallen man thru good Angels and AA and have men get out of their ignorance.
