Sixteen Barangay Officials and representatives attended the 1-Day Seminar on the ideals of BFWP. Only 3 of the 16 barangays of Antipolo City were represented. These were San Juan, Inarawan and San Jose. There were also 2 representatives coming from Mascap and Puray of the municipality of Rodriguez, Rizal (formerly Montalban).

During the opening program Atty. Celso C. Talaba, the Regional Director of FFWPU-Rizal welcomed the participants with an empathic message urging everyone to join hands in realizing peace. Ret. M/Gen. Honesto P. Bumanglag, Rizal Regional Chairman of UPF delivered the keynote speech. He emphasized in his speech the importance of every Barangay in peace-making, peace-building, and peace-maintaining.

Prof. Celestino Jose V. Navalta Jr., the Secretary General of Inter-religious and International Federation for World Peace (IIFWP)-Philippines presented the topics on "The Principles of Creation" and "The Cause of Human Conflict". The topic on "Five Principles of Peace" and "Mission of BFWP" were discussed by Dr. Edgar T. Tanate, the Secretary General of Philippine Teachers’ Association for the Research of Principles (P-TARP) and Vice-President for Administration of UTS-Asia.

In the afternoon, there was an election of officers of BFWP in the barangays that were represented. Each barangay has its own set of officers. However, only San Jose has completed the set of BFWP officers, having the most number of delegates. San Juan and Inarawan were only able to fill the positions of president and secretary. The representatives of Mascap and Puray were elected as BFWP president in their respective barangay.

The oath-taking of the elected officers immediately followed and was administered by Mr. Roland P. Alcayaga, the Secretary General of Barangay Federation for World Peace-Philippines. To complete the set of officers of BFWP in every barangay the participants agreed to conduct the same activity to be held either in their barangay or in UPF-Antipolo City office.
