2007 Annual Educators Conference
Theme: Expanding Educational Horizons
Columbus Day Weekend, Friday, Oct 5 - Sunday, Oct 7, 2007
Barrytown, NY

Dear Educators and Leaders,

We invite you to the 2007 Educators Conference, our sixth annual event! This years theme is "Expanding Educational Horizons."

We are honored this year by the participation of Dr. Thomas Lickona, author of Educating for Character, as our Keynote Presenter. Dr. Lickona directs the Center for the Fourth and Fifth Rs (Respect and Responsibility), and is well-known for his pioneering work in character education and the moral development of young people. We are also fortunate in that he will also be offering two breakout sessions as well.

There will be concurrent results-based breakout sessions that address the conference theme within the five ministry concentrations of: Childrens Ministry, Youth Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, Family Ministry, and Pastoral Ministry. This year we also have a Character Education track that you can select.

This year we have designed the program to welcome participants from an expanded horizon, a multi-faith community. Please reach out to your clergy Ambassadors for Peace, and ACLC contacts inviting them, and some of their core staff, to attend this years conference.

The real richness of the Educators Conference is rooted in your grassroots efforts, energy and heart in expanding our educational horizons. Here is where the energy and vision really explode.

Please register prior to the September 10th early bird deadline for the best rates.
