Shame or Guilt: Why I Have Hard Time To Witness?

Do I have shame or guilt as a Unificationist and why?... Guilt is when I do something wrong and it pushes me to repent and change. However, what I have is "shame" and not guilt. (In this video Dr. Bernie Brown defines shame, iunificationist.org/video/defining-shame)

Shame is the result of the fallen nature of not looking from God's point of view but, looking from how the fallen culture looks at me. When people say things like, you are not a good spouse, or you are not a good member, they are stimulating your fallen nature, not original mind, and it causes shame in you. But when someone says, you are wrong about this or that, that may make us feel guilty enough to think about and even correct it or at least report it vertically.

So, I have this sense of "shame" that I am not "good enough" to be a good member. Shame is actually stimulated by others accusations, not from my lack of self-esteem. It is the opposite of respecting others. And the ones that stimulate shame in others, are also victims of it themselves. In other words, they can't respect others because they don't respect themselves; because somebody else created a sense of shame within them.

Here is video and lyrics of the classic song "Respect Yourself" by Staple Brother, sang when Father began his ministry in America in 1972. Click Play www.youtube.com/watch?v=oab4ZCfTbOI

THE STAPLE SINGERS -- RESPECT YOURSELF LYRICS

If you disrespect anybody
That you run in to
How in the world do you think
Anybody's s'posed to respect you

If you don't give a heck 'bout the man
With the Bible in his hand
Just get out the way
And let the gentleman do his thing

You the kind of gentleman
That want everything your way
Take the sheet off your face, boy
It's a brand new day

Respect yourself, respect yourself
If you don't respect yourself
Ain't nobody gonna give a good cahoot, na na na na
Respect yourself, respect yourself

If you're walking 'round
Think'n that the world
Owes you something
'Cause you're here

You goin' out
The world backwards
Like you did
When you first come here

Keep talkin' 'bout the president
Won't stop evolution
Put your hand on your mouth
When you cough, that'll help the solution

Oh, you cuss around women
And you don't even know their names
And you dumb enough to think
That'll make you a big ol man

Respect yourself, respect yourself
If you don't respect yourself
Ain't nobody gonna give a good cahoot, na na na na
Respect yourself, respect yourself
Respect yourself, respect yourself
