Tarrytown, NY - The World Congress of NGOs will take place online June 8 and 9, focusing on the role of NGOs in enhancing human dignity. Whether striving to prevent or treat disease, advance reconciliation, or provide humanitarian aid, at the forefront of an NGO's mission is recognizing the inherent dignity of each person.

The World Congress of NGOs is the flagship event of WANGO, the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations. Speakers include leaders of non-governmental organizations (charities, nonprofits, civil society organizations) from throughout the world, as well as prominent representatives from the governmental and corporate sectors.

Speakers will explore themes of fundamental import for the global non-profit community. Four panel sessions and ten practical professional development workshops are scheduled, with 25 leading authorities speaking.

This online conference allows for a wider participation of NGO leaders, who in the past may have been restricted by the cost of transportation and accommodations, visa issues, or inconvenient timing. Also part of the proceedings will be an interview with an international leader, an online Happy Hour, an online Exhibit Hall, and much more.
