Dear Leaders,

Thank you very much for your good response and cooperation to collect the Cheong Il Guk Owner Award nominations. Finally the quota for Europe was increased from 160 to 205 nominees. So far the European Office has received 270 nominations from your nations. This means we are well over our goal. I gave the overall list to Pres. Sa who started to review it to select 205 nominees from Europe. Unfortunately the criterias are very strict and Europe will not be able to have a bigger portion.

However, please continue to recommend and send in the Cheon Il Guk Owner Award Records if you feel the brother or sister really deserved it. It will take time for Pres. Sa to finalize the list. He especially wants to encourage you to try to inspire those who are more qualified than others on the list but didn't submit their records because of various reasons.

By just talking to the World Mission Department I came to know that all blessed members world wide can participate at the Coronation Ceremony for the King of Blessed Families of Cosmic Peace and Unity (Cheon Il Guk Blessing ). Therefore, whoever wishes to go to Korea to join the Cheon Il Guk Blessing is wellcome to do so. An official letter with more details will follow soon.

Because of this new development I recommend that all the 270 nominees for the Cheong Il Guk Owner Award start with the booking of their flights to Korea to arrive latest by 31. Junary 2002. . Most important they will be able to participate in the Cheong Il Guk Blessing. If they are finaly able to receive an award from True Parents depends on the selection of 205 Europeans done by Pres. Sa and the final selection done at Chung Pyung where 2,000 of the 3,000 world wide nominees will remain.

For your information there will be a Ancestor Liberation Ceremony for both the Award recipients and the participants for the Cheong Il Guk Blessing. They will receive a special ancestor liberation sometime during the period between 5. - 8. February.

More details will follow soon.

Yours sincerely,
Peter Staudinger
