The Words of the Pierson Family

In His Eyes

Edwin Pierson
1998

Years ago, sometime during my time as personal assistant to the President of "The Washington Times" (circa 1989-1998) I had several brief, though unique encounters with The Founder.

One, I'll never forget, occurred on the occasion of a brief visit to the facility at the end of a friendly meeting in the famous pink room or "Founder's Room" that also served (at that time) as the office of the president.

As Reverend Moon rose from his seat, I happened to be standing right by for whatever assistance one offers in my position. He looked me directly in the eye and said quite confidently, unabashedly, "God loves me best!"

Well, I continue to reflect upon these words often.

For me, in a real sense, they are the most important words I've ever heard from anyone.
