After two days of heavy rain the sun came out smiling as brothers and sisters in Sweden gathered at the Holy Ground in downtown Stockholm to celebrate the 40th. Anniversary of True Father's visit. It was on July 24, 1965, that Father blessed Holy Grounds both in Sweden and Norway (Oslo) as part of his world tour.

This time we used the Sunday Service at the Holy Ground to commemorate this historic event and at the same time it was a fitting conclusion of the weekend meeting for leaders of the Scandinavian region.

Hans Karlsson, NL of Sweden, gave the Sunday Service and later he was joined by Regional Dieter Schmidt and representatives from Norway, Finland and Denmark who shared their feelings.

Afterwards there was cake-cutting and informal sharing among brothers and sisters.

It was truly amazing when the sun broke through the clouds just half an hour before we started. After several days of heavy rain, it was as if Heavenly Father wanted to lift us up with a warm and comforting smile.

40 years of cleansing is over and now we can make a new start, trying to realize what it means to be owners of Cheon Il Guk.
