The Words of the Jessen Family

My Experience

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great experience on the front line. I want to share a testimony of one of my sisters, Hanshin. Until recently, Hanshin has been really challenged to believe in herself, to believe that she can overcome the concepts she has about herself and achieve her goals.

But she was very inspired and touched by a testimony of one sister that was given during a morning service...how this sister chanted constantly to herself that she CAN do it, that "I am God's daughter". But it didn't really begin until after snack time when I read another team's result. She started doubting herself that she could make a new record and the temptation to just be down came over her. But instead of giving in, Hanshin made this strong determination that she was going to believe in herself, that she could do it.

That next run she was able to be free of fear of rejections and invested more in the people. She was able to break through externally, but beyond that she was able to remain unchanging with this determination through to the next day.

She even went a step further by firmly believing that it doesn't matter where I am or what goes on around me, because God is with me always and anywhere and working with me; and I want to absolutely believe this because I don't want to hurt God by doubting in Him. This clear determination could give her confidence and allow God to work through her to achieve her new record.

Also this determination ignited the spirit of the whole team and empowered all of us to believe that no matter what we are the children of God and if we doubt that He will not or cannot work with us or through us; He then feels so much pain. Inspired by this, Aika (Becker) could also achieve her new record. Thank you very much and let's all comfort God by having belief and conviction that He is always with us.
