Dear STF Parents

The time has come to prepare for the God’s Day STF Workshop at Estes Park YMCA in Colorado, and for the Winter Break following this workshop. This year, the second year members who are currently witnessing will not attend the Colorado Workshop. Instead they will hold God’s Day workshops in the communities where they have been witnessing, and then attend the Spring Workshop in Colorado, to join with parents who will all be invited for a special workshop in April.

First year STF members will gather on Dec 29th to prepare for God’s Day, attending Divine Principle Lectures, reflection and praying outside in the snow with a bonfire, through Jan 3rd. Parents are welcome to come to the workshop on Saturday and Sunday Dec. 31st and God’s Day the 1st

This year’s Winter Break for both first and second years will be from Jan 4th through the 12th. STF staff requests PARENTS OF FIRST YEAR MEMBERS AND SECOND YEARS IN CAPTAIN TRAINING to make flights round trip from Denver to your home and back, leaving no earlier than Jan 4 after 12 noon, and returning Jan 12 arriving later in the afternoon – 3 pm at the earliest, because there will be an STF First Year captain’s meeting on the morning of the 12th. Pick-ups at the Denver Airport will be available from 3 pm to 11 pm on Jan 12th.

PARENTS OF SECOND YEAR MEMBERS WHO ARE WITNESSING, please arrange a round-trip ticket from their mission city – either MD/DC area or SF/Oakland, CA area. Members may fly from the morning of the 4th and return between 4:00 and 8:00 pm on the 12th. Team leaders will arrange airport pickups at local airports at approximately 6:00 and 9:00 on that evening.

Please email flight arrangements to stfusa@worldcarp.org and the information will be forwarded to the team leaders.

PLEASE NOTE: there will be a large STF Parents’ Workshop in the spring of 2006 – more information to follow soon.
