The Words of the Flynn Family

Special Project with Native American Leaders

Dear AFC brothers and sisters,

A special dispensation has been developing centering on Native Americans. These are the ‘elder brothers’ of the elder brother nation with a powerful role to play in our reconciliation effort. From the 50 state tour in 2001 to the recent providential events on February 4 and March 23, Native American leaders have made important contributions. We are now developing a coordinated and ongoing national effort with these leaders as special "Ambassadors for Peace". This initiative is being developed under the auspices of IIFWP-USA and with the direct guidance of Dr. Yang.

We would like to sponsor a delegation of at least ten Native Americans on the September pilgrimage representing North America. We believe that the participation of this delegation will represent the spirit of a reconciled America, and will add significantly to our efforts in the Holy Lands.

In addition, we plan to have this delegation return from Israel to Washington DC in time for a special gathering of Native American leaders from around the nation. Leaders will be gathered for the grand opening and dedication of the National American Indian Museum (part of the Smithsonian) on the Mall in front of the US Capitol. Many activities are planned, including Jewell Praying Wolf James (he received a national "Crown of Peace" award on March 23) and the Lummi tribe’s blessing of the ‘freedom and liberty’ totem poles at the Pentagon, bringing healing for the 9/11 attack there.

We are also planning a special reception and program at that time to welcome Native Americans from throughout North and South America, to appreciate the reconciliation work of Jewell James, and to introduce the efforts of Native American Ambassadors for Peace in the Holy Lands. The program will also initiate the Native American Leadership Conference, a new project of IIFWP-USA. Please consider your Native American contacts who might be able to attend the pilgrimage and DC reception. If you are inspired, please contribute financially to allow us to bring other Native American leaders from across the U.S. and build a new Native American movement.

Here are the specific action steps that we ask of you right away: If you or other brothers or sisters in your state have felt called to work with Native American peoples, please get in touch with our office. We want to identify, energize and synergize a national network of those inspired to do this important work. Contact our office by email (onetribe@lifespark.com) or by phone to 202-636-2870.

Please recommend key Native American leaders who could be considered for the delegation to the Holy Lands. Again, send information and ideas by email (onetribe@lifespark.com) or by phone to 202-636-2870.

Finally, this project will only get launched if some are able to step forward with financial contributions. Our first target is to find 10 donors who will each sponsor one Native American leader for the delegation to the Holy Lands. If you know anyone who might be so inclined, again contact us by email (onetribe@lifespark.com) or by phone to 202-636-2870.

Since the pilgrimage to Israel is close at hand, we do need your immediate attention to this request. Please consider talking with brothers and sisters at your local church service on Sunday, August 29.

Finally, even though we are asking for your immediate response related to the pilgrimage, let me conclude by stressing one crucial point. This effort is NOT one more mobilization strategy for our latest campaign. Key leaders have been striving for years to launch a consistent, relevant initiative that connects to our Native American brothers and sisters. This is a necessary effort for the deep healing of America and the reconciliation of its past wrongs. Now is the time that this initiative can be launched, and it shall be done with commitment and integrity.

As always, your assistance and support are sincerely appreciated.
