Re: Home Stretch of Campaign

I am proud to report to you that, as of this morning, the Family Federation of Massachusetts has submitted 7,761 signatures to the Massachusetts Family Institute (MFI) for the Protection of Marriage Initiative. I met with MFI President Kris Mineau and Robert Willington (Campaign Director) earlier today. I can report to you that they are more than appreciative of the contribution that our families have made to this historic campaign, both collecting signatures and working at the MFI office. We have just five days. We must still collect 2,239 signatures to reach our very ambitious goal of 10,000. At the Tuesday Night Meeting last night, we discuss whether we should continue pushing for this goal. The overwhelming sentiment from those at the meeting, including Rev Kim, Rev Bamfo, Sam Wada, Peter Perry, Fukiko Maes, George Howe, Catherine Ono, Youko Lux, Jim Edgerly and Yoshiko Moik, was "YES". Why are we focused on such an aggressive goal: - We are working in a united campaign as Blessed Central Families concurrently with True Parents 100 City Speaking Tour and their historic return to the European continent. Our sacrificial work as united Blessed Central Families establishes a strong condition for God's Blessing and protection.

- We are engaged in a campaign where both first and second generations are proudly taking shared responsibility. Our success will be a victory shared by both generations within each of our families.

- We are engaged in a campaign to advance God's most precious ideal of marriage, family and lineage. Without a doubt, this campaign has providential importance, and we are standing on the front line. We must do everything possible to help God win this battle in Massachusetts.

- We are engaged in a campaign in alliance with the most able type Christian organizations in the state. Our offering is creating a basis for understanding and unity.

In light of these very important purposes, it is important that we complete this campaign victoriously by achieving our goal of 10,000 signatures. To that end, the following commitments have been made: STF Brothers 300 (two brothers are here for the week)

Worcester Families 500
Fukiko's Team 200 (five people)
Edgerly Family 200
Boston Center Team 400 (six people)
Howe Family 50
Total 1,650 signatures

To support the final week of the campaign, we respectfully ask the following of our families:

- Those families, who have not fulfilled the 120-signature goal, please work towards accomplishing this objective by the end of the weekend.

- Those 21 families who have met the 120 signature goal, please continue collecting signatures to help us reach our overall goal by Sunday Night. We suggest a minimum of 30 additional signatures.

- Parents, please encourage your High School and College age students to work with you in achieving your family's goal. Thank you for your effort in this campaign to protect marriage and the family in Massachusetts.

PLEASE SUPPORT THE FAMILY.

SEND VOLUNTEERS TO BOSTON TO WORK WITH JIM EDGERLY.

THANKS AMERICA.
