True Parents' Great Expectation for the 2nd and 3rd Generations

Do you know that 2nd generations do not have the original sin? ("Yes!") You are completely different. It's completely different for the 3rd generations. If that is the case then are the 1st generations closer to heavenly parent and True Parents, or are the 2nd and 3rd generations closer to them? The 2nd and 3rd generations are much closer to them. Heavenly parents have greater expectation for the 2nd and 3rd generations than the 1st generations. If the 1st generations are positioned here then the 2nd generations would be here, the 3rd generations would be here and the 4th generations would be positioned here. The 1st generations must go to the position where the 2nd generations stand with absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. Also, the 2nd generations must go to the position where the 3rd generations stand with absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. Just like that the 3rd generations would have to go to the position of the 4th generations. Do you think God's Will can be completed whilst the 1st generations are here? That would be quite difficult. Why do you think that would be the case? It is difficult for the 1st generations to complete the Will within their time because they have evil content built up in the lineage like a habit. If we discard the past evil habit and live a life centering on true love then we will grow to complete one's personality.

Children who support Pastoral Care

Who is closer to heavenly parent? 1st generation member living a normal life or a pastor (Church Leader)? It is the pastor. You are living in that kind of family. If that is the case then where would heavenly parent come and visit? He would often visit the pastor and its family. Then do you think heavenly parent would take a closer look at you or not? Heavenly parent would take a closer look at you than other children from general member's family. Then, don't you have to do better or not? ("We have to do our best!")

You are the children of the pastors who are closest to heavenly parent. So that means you must attend the holy day worship. You must do the tithing too! You then must listen to what your parents say and never have fallen nature. You cannot get angry nor lie to others.

You may think that, 'I never asked to be the son or daughter of a pastor'. But once you go to the spirit world you will realize how precious it was for you to be the child of a pastor. That is why even if you commit a sin you mustn't hide it from your parents or lie about it. You should be able to talk about it to your parents. You also shouldn't get mad easily. You have to support your parents by listening what your parents do so that other 2nd generations could follow you. You should be in contact with other 2nd generations in your community. So that you can easily share something great with them.

If your parents are pastors for 100% of the time then you should at least 50-60% become aware that you are pastors as well. That is how your parents can be successful and how the church can develop. Do you understand? ("Yes!") When I talk with the pastors they often say, 'I couldn't educate my children because I didn't have enough time due to pastoral care'. Yes, it is partially true that your parents should have interest and love towards you but you should become children who can support your parents.

For this to happen you must change your lifestyle. You have to change it to a lifestyle of prayer and Hoon Dok Hae. You have to shift your life to a life without fallen nature. You have to live with true love and for the sake of others. Even at school, you cannot forget that you are children of pastors. You have to become so that when the general children see will start want to visit our church. You have to do your best to become role models at your school. Study hard and support your friends and teachers and lead them to your parents from respecting you from their hearts. That will make you children who can support your parents in witnessing as well. Success for your parents will also mean success for you. If you support your parents then you can become successful.

Life as a 2nd generation

The children of this world are living according to their own will. They live and drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, and have sexual problems, pleasing their will. Is it okay to drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes? It's better not to do it. Here we have Seonghwa (Youth) students and university students. When you go to university there is an environment of smoking and drinking but whatever the situation you cannot do this. If you don't do it at first then your friends will not offer to you. If you follow that temptation of 'Only today' then they will constantly offer it to you.

Just like having a mind and body we all have a spiritual body and a physical body. The people who drink alcohol will be engraved 'Drinking alcohol' and those who smoke will be engraved 'Smoking cigarettes' and to those who have fallen nature will be engraved 'Fallen nature'. You mustn't drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes.

You also mustn't do lewd acts. What is the original sin? It is lewdness. When I ask children, 'What is the fruit of good and evil?' they will answer 'Apple'. What do you think it is? It is 'sexual organ'. What it truly means of having eaten the fruit of good and evil is 'Misused the sexual organ at a wrong time'. That is why before the blessing you cannot show your naked body to other genders and let them touch it. Even among the 2nd generations as a result of holding hands, hugging and kissing each other there are cases where they had fallen. Especially, if you are children of pastors then you cannot be in that situation.

Your conscience is the judge at the spirit world

Heavenly parent is always at the church and He is always at the families. You all have a conscience don't you? It's not, 'No one is looking so it's okay'. If you go to the spirit world no one will judge you. We all have a physical body and a spiritual body. We can't see the spiritual body because it is in our physical body. We are unable to see it because of the fall of Adam and Eve. If they hadn't had fallen then we would be able to see it. When one dies the spiritual body and physical body separates. If you become a spiritual body you are able to see your own spiritual body. So that is why you go to places suitable to your own spiritual body and not sent by other people. In the principle it says, 'Heavenly parent doesn't send you to the spirit world but you go there by yourself'. No one decides your fate to heaven or hell but you.

Spirits of lewdness and suicide go to worse places than hell. When you go to the spirit world the place where it's far worse than hell is where all the spirits of lewd acts and suicide spirits go to. Right now, you are teenagers and some are in their early 20s. You are truly young. However, time flies by pretty fast and you will reach your 40s, 50s and 60s and before you know it you are in the spirit world. You will not know when or what could happen to you. That is why we all have to constantly check ourselves as we live our lives.

Don't you look at the mirror when you wake up in the morning? You are all beautiful and handsome. As you look in the mirror to check your face and brush your hair you should be able to look at your own conscience. You have to have a time and check your life, 'How did I live yesterday? I did something that I shouldn't have done and lived with fallen nature'. You cannot have fallen nature. You cannot drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes and do lewd acts. Don't forget to polish yourself so that you can be proud of yourself to your spouse at the blessing.

Do you respect your parents? ("Yes!") Have you ever been mad to your parents that you say you respect? If you had then you shouldn't have any more from now. You have to go to church and respect your parents and respect the members who go to church so that your parents can revive the members at church. Please wake early in the morning and go to the church making sure that the holy candles in the hall are lit and if it is nice and clean. You also should greet others really well. Live your life thinking that your parents are pastoring but the other half is done by you.

I assume there were many hardships until now. It must have been very difficult to live as children of pastors. From now, the church will develop. When that happens your hardships will turn into lives of happiness. I know this will happen. I believe that this will happen. So please do not forget that you are happy people.

2nd generations and the Seonghwa (Youth) students shouldn't dye their hair or put heavy make up on but study hard. And become proud 2nd generation children wherever you go to the world. Do you know the school here called the CheongShim International Academy? It is a school that studies real hard. Among all the students a 3rd generation child is academically number 1 in the school. Although there are children who study hard like that student but there are also children who give up and quit midway. You are students right now so please study well and I ask all the university students to come to the Universal Peace Academy. At the Universal Peace Academy we hold mind education and heart education and will send these recruits to become pastors and to other providential organizations.
