Burning Ceremony and the Tree of Love Prayer

For the last program for the 2nd day of 'Commemorative Special Great Works for the 15th Anniversary of Chung Pyung Works' was the 'Burning Ceremony and the Tree of Love Prayer'. Originally, the Burning Ceremony was not in the schedule, but Dae Mo Nim suddenly instructed to have this ceremony at the same time of the night time prayer at the Tree of Love. Around 8,000 members gathered together standing close to each other and prayed their hearts out for the fulfillment of their wishes and for the well being of year 2010.

The MC for the ceremony was Rev. Myeong-gwan Lee, Director of the Department of Planning and Education, who began the ceremony at half past 11 pm. After a prayer by a Korean Church leader, light for the Holy Candle was bestowed by Dae Mo Nim.

For this special prayer, Dae Mo Nim had already prepared Holy Candles at the Jeongshim Won Prayer hall for the members to use at the prayer at the Tree of Love. Dae Mo Nim and Hoon Mo Nim had offered much sincere devotion for a long time in this candle to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of Chung Pyung Works. Dae Mo Nim bestowed these candles to all the participants so that they can receive the Heavenly Fortune and once returned home could connect their own family back to God. She also said that when members pray with these candles, abundant grace and Heavenly Fortune shall be connected to their families.

The Holy Candle was first given to 8 representatives then was given to 40 pastors and church leaders. After all participants received this candle, the MC invited the 4 representatives of 3 nations, Korea, Japan and International, on to the stage to light the altar. When the altar was light, flames rose for several feet burning all the Fulfillment of Wishes Papers that was offered by members. The Fulfillment of Wishes Papers that was offered during the time of the Special Great Works was burnt. So this was another true grace for the members who came to this workshop. The burning ceremony is originally only held during the Purification Azalea Festival and since last year there were no world tours, it was such a grace for many members to receive.

After sincere prayers offered by members for the fulfillment of their wishes 4 cheers of Eok-manse were given by Rev. Hideo Oyamada from Japan. With tremendous roars of Eok-manse, members finished the Prayer at the Tree of Love and the Burning Ceremony of Fulfillment of Wishes Papers.
