The 'Inaugural Ceremony for Kids Ambassadors for Peace', August 18, 2007, Cheonseong Wanglim Palace.

On August 18, 3:20 pm, at the main hall of Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace) the 'Inaugural Ceremony for Kids Ambassadors for Peace' welcoming Hyun Jin Nim was held by Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. A total of 2,862 children of 9 - 12 years old were appointed as Kids Ambassadors for Peace with the vision of 'Humankind will be one family under God' and do many peace activities.

Many distinguished guests came to this ceremony; Rev. Sun-jo Hwang, President of FFWPU-Korea, Rev. Jeong-no Yun, President of Universal Peace Federation-Korea, Rev. Min-ha Kim, President of Ambassadors for Peace Central Administration, Rev. Bo-hui Park, President of Korean Cultural Foundation and Rev. Yeong-ho Ha, President of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center came to this inaugural ceremony.

The emcee of the ceremony was Rev. Yeong-gyun Lee, President of Seunghwa Department - Korea. The attendants first watched a congratulatory video, followed by opening declaration, opening prayer (Rev. Yung), congratulatory song (Little Angels Choir), introduction of distinguished guests, progress report (Rev. Jin-su Kim, World President of Seunghwa Department), mission declaration ceremony (Representatives of Kids Ambassadors for Peace), Congratulatory Address (President Kim and Rev. Park), inaugural address (Rev. Hwang), presentation of flowers (representative of Kids Ambassadors for Peace), appointing ceremony and speech (Hyun Jin Nim), 4 cheers of Eok-manse (Rev. Gwang-seok Song, President of Youth Federation for World Peace -- Korea), and ended with a commemorative photo centering on Hyun Jin Nim.

At the inaugural address, Rev. Hwang said, "Please overcome religion, culture and nationality and establish peace on this earth that everyone yearns for. All of you are people that can realize peace. Please study well and be filial sons and daughters and become role models for everyone."

At the appointing ceremony Hyun Jin Nim gave badges to 2 representative Kids Ambassadors for Peace and continued with his speech, saying that he hopes that all that gathered here will grant God's Wish.

"I am extremely happy when I look at you. What is the biggest dream among every other dream? The biggest dream is God's dream. God's dream is that humankind will be one family under God. Don't you want to make this? Those who want to be the owner of the biggest dream, raise your hands! (All children raising their hands)." The future hope for humankind is you. The future of humankind changes according to the seed that you have planted in yourself today."

At the end, centering on Hyun Jin Nim, all participants of the ceremony took a commemorative photo and ended the inaugural ceremony at 4:40 pm.
