Re: 21-day National Condition for Devotion and Unity

Our National President and Senior Pastor, Rev. In Jin Moon, is encouraging all Unification members and families in the United States to join together to support True Parents’ International Peace Marriage Blessing Ceremony on October 14, 2009. Based upon the successful first 21-weeks of Lovin’ Life Ministries, and the current national 21-week unity condition, and to connect with International President Hyung Jin Moon’s condition of 21,000 bows, a 21-day National Condition of Devotion and Unity has been set from Wednesday, September 23 through Tuesday, October 13, 2009.

True Parents have asked all Blessed Families to participate as representatives of all 6 billion people in the world and all people in their nation. To support this Special Blessing Ceremony and True Parents global providence, all members are asked to pray and offer conditions of sincerity around these important themes:

I. Absolute Victory of True Parents and True Children

II. Success of the October 14, 2009 International Peace Marriage Blessing Ceremony for the establishment of Cheon Il Guk

III. Absolute Unity of all Blessed Central Families with True Parents and Successful Inheritance of the Blessing on Behalf of all Humankind.

Rev. In Jin Moon has asked that all Unificationists develop a creative, personal and meaningful spiritual condition to support these points during the 21 days prior to this Blessing. Participants should consider one or more of the following suggested areas, or design your own condition. Most important is that it be a genuine and heartfelt offering.

Suggestions:

A. Devotion -- prayer (7, 12 or 21 days); fasting (breakfast fast for 7, 12 or 21 days; 1 day or 40 hour fast, etc.); bowing, cold shower or other devotional offerings.

B. Word -- Hoon Dok Hwe with “True Families: Gateway to Heaven,” Father’s June 1 speech at the “Celebration for the Publication of True Father's Memoirs,” or other. For those who can, participation in the Original DP Workshop on September 29 -- October 3, 2009 in Washington, DC.

C. Outreach -- invite guests to Sunday Lovin’ Life Worship, small group meetings or other events (where appropriate). Invite Ambassadors for Peace, clergy and community leaders to participate in the Blessing.

A similar condition is underway in Korea. Let us all join together to support True Parents and True Children during this significant time. Detailed information regarding the significance of the October 14th Blessing is attached.
