Concerning The History Of Our Sister Zahava Caron

July 6, 2008

Dear Family,

Our beloved sister, Mrs. Zahava Caron passed into the spirit world yesterday July 4th. Zahava Caron is the wife of Rev. James Caron, the state leader of Family Federation for World Peace in Maine. Dr. Yang reported to True Parents and True Father gave his blessing saying her Seung Hwa ceremony should be a regional level ceremony because she is the wife of a state leader.

Zahava was born in Haifa, Israel. Her Father had escaped Nazi Germany and later met her mother, who had escaped from Romania, in Israel. At the age of 5 years she came with her parents to America. She met the Unification Church in NY in 1974. She received intense persecution from her family. She spent several years on MFT where she was given many awards. Zahava was Blessed with Jim Caron at Madison Square Garden, as part of the 2075 couples Blessing.

Zahava always served alongside her husband, a UTS graduate, in a very public way. She has been an ardent supporter of the ACLC work in Maine. Her life was always characterized by a determination to share God’s message. Most significantly, those around her were always struck by her humility and willingness to sacrifice for others. Her legacy is a life of deep faith and service.

She supported the efforts of MEPI by going to Israel on several occasions, working hard to reconcile the 3 Abrahamic faiths. Even under financial difficulties she always made time to contribute to peace in the Middle East.

Jim and Zahava have 3 beautiful daughters, Airelle 20 - STF graduate and currently attending the University of Bridgeport, Anna 18, - on STF; she took the last month off to care for her Mother, Hyun Ja - 17, and their youngest child, Benjamin 13.
