The Power Of Small Conditions

I would just like to share a testimony from our team that shows how God is working through the conditions that we set, and that investment is never wasted.

Throughout this past condition we were doing 3 days super challenges each Thursday through to Saturday. We pushed ourselves extra on those days. Our team had a vision for this super challenge to: "Revive the Family"

We dedicated our investment to bring hope to our movement - both first and second generations, to love and welcome back those who have strayed. So we applied ourselves on the front-line with the heart of really reviving and giving love to all of the people that we meet.

I was so moved by each of my sisters’ efforts to not just think of or see people they interacted with on the frontline from their own viewpoint, but to connect to God's perspective. Then they tried to love unconditionally not just because people were nice, or out of obligation to the goal, but because they began to see people as God's family, and their own family. Even more importantly, through their efforts, each of these sisters came to a new understanding of THEIR relationship with God, and a new desire to make a true parent/child relationship with him.

Overall, it was a great 3 days' experience, and everyone felt they could find more purpose and meaning not only in their fundraising, but also in their life of faith, with God at the center.

BUT!!! Our investment was not just for our own benefit! When I called home this weekend, out of nowhere my mother began to tell me testimonies of people who had come to church that Sunday -- one brother who had left the church more than 20 years ago embraced my mother and thanked her for her faith and commitment. An older second-generation brother and his family that we didn't even know was living in our area came, as well as one family who lives across the state that we only see once a year. And one of our member's physical brothers came and enjoyed the service, although he had never been positive towards the church before!

We were amazed that God is looking for even a small condition of sincerity to work through. We realized that our investment and heartistic energy is never wasted! This weekend, our team could see how important was our determination to "Revive the Family."

We hope to be doing much more to contribute to our movement and the world in the future!
