Day of the Celebration of Victory

The Day of the Celebration of Victory was declared in America on July 1, 1973. It has the providential meaning of the joyful day when the suffering heart (han) of Jesus was healed.

"I established the Day of Celebration of Victory, a historic commemorative day, on July 1, 1973, in America. Up to now, several Holy Days have been established in Korea, but this is the first time a day to celebrate victory has been established in the world. Do you understand? This is a day of making a new beginning in the history of the Unification Church. The Day of Celebration of Victory could be established since the first half of the second seven-year course has been well accomplished. We are celebrating this day because we have crossed over the hill of the three year period."
