Following a 10-day seminar with Reverend Ken Sudo (Class of '95 ) and a further 10 days of journalism training at the Washington Times, the members of the Class of '97 were given their assignments in late July. For the most part, the Koreans, Japanese and Americans were assigned to countries involved in the expansion of the Tiempos del Mundo/World News newspaper and others were told to return to their home nations to assist in the preparations for the November Blessing of 3.6 million couples. The newspaper assignments ranged from Denmark (Mark Snell) to Zaire (Makiko Nakamura) to Sri Lanka (Jin Hyo Kwak).
