The '1st Base Leaders and Region Leaders Workshop for the Victory of Vision 2020' closing ceremony was held from 9:40 am on 8.23 by the heavenly calendar (solar: September 27, 2013) at the 5th floor of Chinhwa Building of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center with Dae Mo Nim. Annyeonghashmnika. ('Annyeonghaseyo!') I will be going to Japan again tomorrow. Also, because we have another workshop tomorrow the closing ceremony has been moved to today.
This is the 'Base Leaders and Region Leaders Workshop'. Previously, we had the 'Original Divine Principle Workshop' for 5 days. When we began that program True Father said, "All the members are region leaders". You are a region leader centering on your own home.
In Japan, there are church leaders, parish leaders and representative of blessed wives but the region leaders must unite with their pastors who are in your Abel position and take care of the members and stand in the front line of witnessing. For you to become such region leader you have to understand the principle and words. So that is why we have this 'Base Leaders and Region Leaders Workshop' for those members who are recognized as region leaders by the Japanese Headquarters.
We served True Parents believing 100% that they are the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind until now. When you go to the spirit world that gratitude is much greater than what you felt on earth. In front of True Parents who gave us the true life, true love and true lineage and who gave us this blessing, we should be oozing out with gratitude every single day. However, we sometimes forget this and live our own lives. Looking at earth and hell from the spirit world the, the fact that w received the blessing and cleansed our original sin in an evil world is something that we should be grateful for.
Here at Chung Pyung I will only talk the truth and in details. You have to listen well and apply it in your lives, 'That is right. While I am still on earth I must make sure that my family and tribe can live a principled lifestyle'. When I tell the members 'To live a life for the sake of your family and tribe', members would probably think of living for the sake of their own family and tribes but that is not what I am saying. It means for everybody to live a principle life and go to church together and move forward along with God's will. How many people of your family have an absolute faith? You have to see how many people in your tribe are living their lives centering on God's will. It's too late to shed tears after realizing 'Having a physical body was the only time for me to work centering on God's Will' in the spirit world.
Heavenly parent said, 'For you to be a victor you must fulfill your responsibility and conduct things with truth at all times. You must do everything with the truth. You must conduct it without any falseness. Do everything with love. You have to do it with love even when a terrifying sinner came. Don't seek something in return and do it with sacrifice and dedication. Do it diligently without caring for day and night. If you can do this then you can have victory and fulfill your responsibility.'
At the end of 1991 and 1992 I went up to the place where the Tree of Blessing is located and Dae Mo Nim and Hoon Mo Nim listened to what heavenly parent had to say. To fulfill the Will with a belief that if I had absolute faith then I can achieve this and so I came to this place without anything. Witnessing is also your mission that you received.
Today I gave you this written appointment. Please fulfill your responsibilities as base and region leaders. True Father and True Mother expects much for the year 2020. They want to give us great blessings. They believe that we will fulfill the goal and responsibility in witnessing. For this we must do everything diligently.
If you don't have time to witness outside then you should witness from inside your family. If you don't have time to witness outside then please give your love and interest to your family. When you do family education and if there is someone in your family that hates the church then apply True Parents' words in your family education. You can do this without having Hoon Dok Hae. Then, as they start to believe True Parents and the husband believe the wife and vice versa and their love unites then you can start holding Hoon Dok Haes.
You cannot say to your family members at the beginning, 'sit down and we must do Hoon Dok Hae'. Because they are your family you must apply those words and say, 'We all must live for the sake of others'. Don't say, 'Because True Father said so,' or 'Because we were told to live for the sake of others,' but educate them by saying, 'A family must live with true love' and teach them to 'live for the sake of others. And live with love.' So when the parent and child's heart unites then they will start to ask, 'How did you know that you had to live for the sake of others? How do you know how to live with love?' At that time you should answer, 'There is a True Parent who taught us and educated us.' This applies to your relatives as well.
Please choose a sentence from the Cheon Seong Gyeong or out of True Parents' words and send it to your family members as a letter. Does this work? Yes, it does. They will accept this amazing sentence that you have sent them and start to respect you. If they start to respect you then they will follow your words. When they start to follow these words then everything they do in their life starts to come together and it makes them believe even more into your words.
The members should read the principle, words and Cheon Seong Gyeong and take notes from lectures. Return to your home and if you are able to gather your family members like this and exchange these words to each other then you can perfect your personality.
If you cannot perfect your personality then you cannot have a Shim Jeong. Let's say that I got angry today. And then went to the church and interacted with members. Do you think I could give words of love from the bottom of my heart? No, I wouldn't be able to. I don't have to say it but it appears in my face. It shows through my actions. When you have that give and take with the other person you should interact with them with a heart of gratitude. Just because we know the principle and father's words it doesn't mean anything if we don't practice it. No matter what great things I might say on this podium if my personality is not there then the members who are at the receiving will not feel the grace. When a person with a proper personality says something then the grace is much greater to the listener.
There will be no grace if the person on the podium doesn't have a good personality and lifestyle and starts to give a speech. Why? Because we are all in the spiritual Shim Jeong world of having give and take action.
I always tell the lecturers here, 'Don't give lectures that you cannot take responsibility. Don't give lectures that you cannot practice. If you use True Father's words but you cannot practice those words then don't use it no more.' That is why the lecturers here in Chung Pyung are trying their best to improve their lifestyles.
We are all children of True Parents. We have to become one heart, one body and one mindset in front of True Parents and fulfill our filial piety as sons and daughters. We often pray, 'heavenly parent please be with me' but heavenly parent is always with us. We often pray to heavenly parent, 'please help me. please be with me', but He is there to help and support us at all time. We have to start thinking if we are one with heavenly parent?
The responsibility that we have until the year 2020 is enormous. We received it because we can achieve it. Understand that you can do this that is why you are given this responsibility and do your best with a heart of gratitude.
I ask the Japanese members to take care of their health and exercise really well. Please become sons and daughters of filial piety with a healthy body in front of True Parents. Gamsahamnida.
