Worldwide 12,000 Couples Blessing Ceremony 'We will create True Families'

On 1.17 by the heavenly calendar (Feb,17, 2013) the 'Cosmic Holy Blessing Ceremony by the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind 2013' was held at CheongShim Peace World Center with new brides and groom of 3,500 couples from 60 nations and True Mother as the main officiator. Through the internet live broadcast, a total of 12,000 couples worldwide attended this blessing ceremony.

True Mother who attended as the officiator said, "The Family Federation became the light of hope for humanity after 53 holy blessings which started in 1960 by the 3 and 36 couples." Then True Mother offered a sincere prayer, "We must fulfill our responsibility. With the blessed couples of 12,000 we will have a resolution of life or death decision and investing one's entire being and promise to become proud people who can receive the heavenly blessing."

At his congratulatory remarks, the Venerable In-Gong, Chief Executive of the Korean Buddhist Taego Order said, 'Through the mass wedding ceremony, Sun Myung Moon strongly wished for the oneness of couples through love and to create an ideal family. I truly wish for that family to expand to create a society then to a world and then the arrival of world peace.'
