At Chungshim International Hospital a commemorative event was held for the 1000th Chungshim Baby being born. At 2 pm of November 27, centering on Dae Mo Nim there were around 120 members of hospital staff, 120th 40-day Workshop pregnant sisters and other patients.

On this day, the son of Yeong-cheol Pak and Mayumi Okawa (1000th Chungshim Baby), the son of Hyeon-jin Lee and Heng-un Shin (999th Chungshim Baby) and the son of Dae-jyun Yun and Miwa Araki (1001st Chungshim Baby) were the stars of the event.

In her congratulatory speech, Dae Mo Nim said, 'I thank God, all medical angels, parents and their beautiful babies who made it possible to welcome the 1000th Chungshim Baby.' 'It is important to bring up your beautiful and healthy child' and emphasized to the parents that it is important to have responsibilities when educating your child, during her speech. At the end there was an acknowledgement ceremony for all the medical staff who had dedicated themselves to this day.

Dr. Shin-hen Kim of the obstetrics and gynecology said, 'Including the 1000th Chungshim Baby I hope that all Chungshim Babies would grow healthy'. Senior nursing staff, U-na Kou tearfully said, 'I thank all the nurses who have worked in the obstetrics and gynecology to this day'.

To those 3 special babies many gifts were given as well as all other babies who were then at the hospital.

At Chungshim International Hospital since the opening of the hospital in July 21, 2003 the number of Chungshim Babies been born has reached to number 1005 (November 27, 2007).

Also every year, during the 'Purification Azalea Festival' a 'Chungshim Baby Selection Convention' is always held to select the healthiest baby of the year.
