April 17, 2007 (lunar Calendar: March 1), the pledge and commemorative service for the '48th True Parents' Day' was held in Cheon Jeong Gung Museum with True Parents. In the midst of True Parents' 'Rally to Declare the Beginning of a New Universal Civilization of Peace' (April 3 – 25), touring around 21 cities in Korea, many pastors from Korea and Japan and around 3,000 Blessed Families attended to commemorate this day.

At 6:56 a.m. True Parents entered the hall and lit the Holy Candles. As Rev. Chung-hwan Kwak, International President of UPF, as the emcee, there was the offering of bows starting with the members of True Family, followed by representatives of each level. Then there was the reciting of the Family Pledge, Representative Prayer (Mr. and Mrs. Kwak), Cake Cutting, Partaking of the Holy Food, and after True Parents giving each member of the True Family Holy Food, it ended with the 3 cheers of Eok-manse offered by Rev. Hideo Oyamada.

The Commemorative Service began from 10 a.m. with Rev. Sun-jo Hwang, President of FFWPU-Korea, as the emcee. Firstly, there was the singing of the Cheon Il Guk National Anthem, Representative Prayer (Rev. Do-sun Lim, General President of FFWPU-Japan), a Hoon Dok Hae, Presentation of Flowers, True Father's Words, and ended with Eok-manse (Rev. Chang-shik Yang, Regional President of North America).

At the Hoon Dok Hae, Professor Nan-yeong Moon, President of WFWP, read the Messages from the Spiritual World. Then Rev. Kwak followed by reading the 1st, 3rd and 7th Chapter of God's Volume in Chung Seong Gyeong and later read the 9th Peace Message, entitled 'God's Ideal Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World'. Then there was the presentation of flowers to True Parents.

Then True Father took the stage and read the Peace Message, 'A Providential View of the Pacific Rim Era in Light of God's Will: The United States and Future Direction of the United Nations and the World' which is read at the 'Rally to Declare the Beginning of a New Universal Civilization of Peace' for around an hour and half. True Father explained that the New Universal Civilization s a new civilization centering on god. And that the human civilization has arrived at the Pacific Realm. He then continued, for establishing harmonized and united humankind on earth of Peace Ideal World the United States must fulfill its providential responsibility. Furthermore, he spoke the importance of the arrival of the Realm of Women's Culture and the Peace Messages., and that from now on, it is an era where God will stand in front of us and lead us.

At the end, there were 4 cheers of Eok-manse, where 'Completion of Abel type UN' was added by True Father. After the Eok-manse, True Parents told Rev. Lim to sing 'Daehan Jiriga' (Song of Korean Earth) and danced with the members for a while.

In the afternoon, entertainment was held in Cheon Jeong Gung Museum with True Parents to celebrate this precious day.
