North Dakota's Community of Faith Seminar
by Keiko Foss
We held a "Community of Faith Seminar" at the University of Mary Fargo Center from 2:00-5:00pm on Saturday, February 12. Dr. Keith Anderson & Mrs. Gudrun Gavin drove 4 hours to help our seminar. Dr. Anderson's PowerPoint presentation was well received. He spoke from his heart, embracing guests with his gentle eye. It was very inspiring presentation with deep content.
Mayor Bruce Furness gave a welcoming message and Mrs. Gavin shared the testimony of her 21- day interreligious work in Israel in 2003. And Mr. Larry Olson gave a report and testimony about the December 13 "Common Legacy Breakfast banquet" and Rev. Moon's speech. Felix, who came from Nigeria, offered a beautiful convocation prayer. He was deeply moved by Dr. Anderson's presentation. He is preparing for the Blessing. Mr.Kenneth Musungu, who is working to get a Ph.D in Educational Leadership, was in attendance.
He is from South Sudan, where he would like to build a hospital and school. Pastor Paul Agamiri, from the Sudanese Fellowship church, left in the middle of a very important meeting to come to our Seminar. He would like to get our PowerPoint CD to teach his congregation.
Joan MacCaslin did a wonderful job at the registration table. Cindy did a nice job as the MC. Roshan taped the whole program and helped to set up refreshments. Aloycia (10) was very attentive. We had very good teamwork. Unity brought harmony and victory for True Parents and Heavenly Father. Larry's new wife, Toshiko, baked muffins & brownies and served drinks for everyone.
