The Words of the Hyun Jin Moon
Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China
Hyun Jin Moon
June 5-6, 2009
Notes and report: Thomas Walsh
TM and HJN arrived in the afternoon, from Cambodia. While en-route to the prepared hotel, word came that there had been a small fire in the hotel, and we could not enter for a couple of hours. Therefore, at Mother's request, we stopped at a nearby MacDonald's, had some Big Macs while an effort was made to find an alternative hotel.
The main program was held at Taipei's beautiful Sun Yat Sen Hall, which seats 4000. The program proceeded according to the basic format, before an enthusiastic full house audience. Both TM and HJN presented beautifully, and each part of the program was carried out with precision and dignity. The Taiwanese movement is very experienced and most capable in all areas.
The program in Taiwan brought to conclusion the 9-nation tour in the Asia Region:
TM and HJN go on to Korea today, to begin the program related to the opening of the Original Palace that runs from June 6 to 14.
On June 16 the 180-city tour will resume in Mongolia.
HDH: at Taipei Westin Hotel
Readings are in Chinese and there is no translation from Korean to English, only to Chinese.
TM: Speaks about significance of learning Korean, about development of witnessing, and importance of island nations. She named a children's choir for Taiwan: Man Hak and one for Philippines Pil Hak.
HJN: Congratulations on a great victory yesterday. How much victory was it? The future is what you make it. If you really inherit and own the message from yesterday, we can be the author's of that future. It depends on how you invest. I like to speak to younger people because they dream more, since they have more time. Much more time remaining in their lives. Therefore the dreams they have are related to a longer remaining life span. My Father is the youngest person I know and has the greatest dream. What is the greatest dream? It is the dream that God had from the beginning of time. Will you take on God's dream. [He Sings]
