The Words of the Goldberg Family |
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This year is so full of promise and opportunity! I am excited by the level of energy being generated at our Metro Area Worship with a home grown band and all of us together going "All in for Lovin Life and True Parents". You are all a big part of what is happening and we hope you are finding your place in the Lovin Life family.
The Heavenly Calendar puts God's Day in a new time frame compared to our traditional way of thinking in the West. This is a great time to reflect on what went well last year and what we want to change for the coming year.
Here is an image for you to consider. The phrase "tong ban kyok pa" which refers to breaking through in home church and reaching new friends of faith, is a very powerful statement. I am told it refers to a decisive punch in karate with the term kyok pa meaning hitting so hard that blood comes out. Tong ban is our neighborhood, of course. This year we must break through and become successful in sharing our faith. We need to energize our selves and make strong determination.
Please think deeply about this and make your determination for 2012 to bring 12 new people by setting conditions, acting in faith and having confidence. We will begin training classes on Friday evenings to share together how we can do this. Watch for coming information in the next few days.
See you on Sunday.
Peace and Blessings,
Pastor Matthew and Marianne Goldberg
