I see it this way: The kindest thing I can say about Damian is that he appears to have been used as a pawn by a group of people who want to grab the assets of the Unification Movement. [Damian's post is below.]
Their apparent strategy is to create so much negative publicity about Kook Jin Nim that either he will be forced to resign or True Mother will be forced to remove him.
If I am right, their strategy does not depend on any of their statements being true. It only depends on the volume of noise created. They must figure that, if they can only get Kook Jin Nim removed so they can put their own person in charge of Tongil Foundation, they will be long gone with the assets by the time the allegations against Kook Jin Nim have been proven false.
I have a pretty good idea of which group is involved here. I am referring to a group that has a large revenue but is has a low level of transparency in its financial operations. In the past, they have appeared to be threatened by the idea of having Tongil Foundation audit their books.
In addition, Tongil Foundation currently holds legal title to some of the major assets operated by this group.
Others have tried similar tactics in the past and failed. Of course, the Kwak Group was one. Another group made an attempt against Kook Jin Nim in the spring of 2011. As I recall, Damian played a part in that attempt as well.
I am referring to a group supporting Sun Jo Hwang, who was then the head of UPF Korea. This organization also was spending a lot of money while resisting Tongil Foundation attempts to introduce greater transparency and accountability into their systems.
The Hwang Group went to far as to visit major financial institutions in Seoul to tell them they should not listen to Kook Jin Nim, because he would soon be replaced by Sun Jo Hwang. We know this, because the banks were calling Tongil Foundation for confirmation.
Well, today Sun Jo Hwang has been removed from UPF Korea. The budget has been drastically reduced, and their books are transparent.
This new group appears to think it can succeed where Kwak and Hwang failed. I am confident they, too, will fail. But it may get a little messy for a while. Please stand by while we fix this problem.
A reliable source has just reported to me that yesterday, Kook Jin Moon, founder and owner of Kahr Arms and manager of Unification Church businesses in Asia, admitted to fathering a love child while in college and submitted his resignation from his management role as chairman of the Tongil Group, a South Korean business group which supports Unification Church projects.
This report is as yet unconfirmed, but trusted.
You heard it here first.
