Send-off Ceremony for Dr. Felipe Cachola attended by many; burial follows today

Manila -- A send-off ceremony known as "seung hwa" in Korean term was offered to the late Dr. Felipe B. Cachola, former president of PTARP and one of the Ambassadors for Peace from the Philippines. His departure to his eternity in his send-off was fully attended by his fellow peace ambassadors and the leaders of the different affiliates of the Unification Movement Philippines. The funeral is set today at Holy Cross Cemetery in Novaliches, Quezon City at 3:00 p.m.
His immediate family from his wife Madame Milagros together with his married six children with their families, Nap, Milfe, Alex, Tutus, Mel and Femi hosted the send-off ceremony officiated by Pres. Jimmy Vergara of FFPWU and Bro. Joseph Navalta of UTS Asia.
UM Philippines National Leader Dr. Michael Zablan, together with other dignitaries like Gen Magsino, Gen. Bumanglag, Dr. Chua, Bishop Pedro Maglaya were also around who shared their testimonies in the eulogy.
Other UM affiliate leaders like Engr. Julius Malicdem of SHIAF, Engr. Aldrin Nituma of WCARP Philippines, Madame Angel Lorenzana of PTARP Isabela, Prof. Eric Niduasa, National Lecturer of PTARP, also offered their hearts, prayers, flowers and songs during the send-off ceremony.
Members of the FFWPU, UPF, UM Philippines also were around and offered white roses and burned some incense candles for the soul of the beloved Dr. Cachola. Other elders like Mrs. Shirley Vergara, Mrs. Connie Poon, and international couples like Mr. and Mrs. Fenoli from Italy who offered a song graced the ceremony.
Officers and members and staff of PTARP were also around giving their farewell to their former president. (with reports from King Vantauan)
