The strong scent of Durian in Davao flourishes and smells again, the tuna savor, taste, and delicacies in General Santos City. As I assumed the leadership January 9, 2007 and reported at the center last February 1, 2007, I immediately went to General Santos City as the Executive Minister for Southern Mindanao to attend to our National Leader Mike Zablan visiting to my area of responsibility.

Dr. Edgar Tanate is on tour for lecture presentation for Barangay mobilization. The lecture presentation of Dr. Edgar Tanate to the family members made them realize deeply the importance of their responsibility as Blessed Couples to the community. They determined to mobilize in their respective areas. The next day Dr. Tanate proceeds to Davao to give also the lectures to the Davao members.

Then Dr. Zablan, Bishop Soria, Alex Benedicto and Jimmy Cempron came after, in Gen San for the meeting for Married Priests.

The meeting with the Married Priests in General Santos City was also very successful since the participants were so inspired with the projects of UPF and at the same time very curious on the controversy where Archbishop Millingo is involved with.

After the meeting with Married Priests, our National Leader met the local leaders and members in General Santos City. The Gen San City leaders waited until 1:00 AM until the meeting of married priest ended. Yet they are still very eager to have a meeting with the National leader. In that meeting, Mr. Celso Deretso was requested by the National Leader Michael Zablan to lead the Gen San providence. He accepted it and he was being declared by Dr. Zablan as the Regional Director for General Santos.

From General Santos City, we proceeded to Davao City to meet also the married priests. The married priests in Davao meet regularly every 2nd Saturday of the month. The meeting was also successful and they are going to discuss on how to receive Archbishop Millingo in Davao City.

On the 6th of February 2007, I visited Carmen, Panabo Farm and Training Center. The farm has potential for other farming and livelihood projects. Not just rice farming since it is prone to flooding. Plans will be created in order that the farm and training center will be profitable spiritually and financially.

Mr. Pedro Vilbar on the 10th of February 2007, organized a Family Tree lecture in Luna, Sto Tomas, Davao del Norte for the working staff and employees in Fresh Banana Agricultural Corp. As part of their leadership training the staff were very serious in knowing the reality of what is happening to them is connection to their past ancestors. After drinking the holy wine they determined to do their best to be good to prepare for the future of their descendants.

Last February 11, 2007 in my leadership, the 1st elders, cluster leaders and leaders meeting was conducted. We discussed how to strengthen our members and revive those members who went to other groups and those who are not connecting any more. One idea is that we have to visit them house to house. Try to learn what happen to them and their family and relationship as husband and wife. Then encourage them to attend Sunday fellowship and meetings. We are planning to conduct quarterly gathering of families. Like outing together with our children and parents in a park or in a beach, purposely have sharing and supporting one another in our family life and parenthood.

After a week, our National Leader come back to Mindanao, gave Sunday Service in Davao and met the elders, cluster leaders and leaders of Davao and Gen San.

During the meeting we discussed about the activities and leadership of Mindanao. Also Mr. Alexander Persia was persuaded by the National Leader to lead one region in Mindanao. He was assigned in Butuan Region as a Regional Leader.

Dr. Zablan visited the National Science High School in Davao based in Mintal, Davao City and he introduced the WCARP and SHSP to the Director. They are going to arrange the schedule for Dr. Zablan to speak to the students.

Our National Leader also spoke to High School graduating students from General Santos National High school and Davao City National High School.

Many students from Gen San Natl High wanted to join the WCARP seminars and they have good reflection of the presentation of Dr. Zablan. As well as in Davao City Natl High, there were students also who were inspired with the presentation of the National leader.

For the second time on February 21, 2007, Mr. Pedro Vilbar organized a Blessing Orientation and Family Tree seminar at Luna, Sto Tomas, Davao del Sur, in Plant 92 of Fresh Banana Agri., Corp. In this group many staff were married and they were very happy to know that fidelity in marriage and purity before marriage could change the future of their lives and descendants.

In Matina, Davao City at the Aguinaldo High School thru the coordination of Mr. Jun Presores we conducted a WCARP and SHSP orientation seminar. Students are willing to attend a 2 Day Seminar.

As the month of February had passed, a jump start of my Mindanao leadership, many activities have already happened. I am very thankful that the National Leader Dr Micale G. Zablan supported us here in Mindanao, who never left me behind in bringing me to become a sensible leader and help me how lead and guide members accordingly especially on this part of Mindanao, where many members were not connecting anymore. I hope we can really do something to revive the spirit of True Love in this place of Southern Mindanao. We pledge again to bring many results from this place to support the restoration of this country, Philippines.
