I remember very well in 1988/9 during Rev. Ahn's famous 21-day lectures, we were tasked to pray "REPENTANCE prayer with TEARS". Being purely immature and naive, the prayer time was just too long for me I ran out of sins to repent for. An idea just came to my mind to repent for my ancestors' sins, for society's sins, our brothers' and sisters' sins and this has become a "habit" for me.
I can say, these tearful prayers gave way to my GLORIOUS spiritual experiences in 1991 and then again in 2001. Specially in 2001, as I was struggling with the members' problems in our first Church assignment as Church leader here in Japan, my only recourse was to pray and beg for God's intervention. As I was praying again, pleading for Heaven's support, repenting for our members' sins, I just felt like the whole spirit world cried out with me, I just wailed like a cow being slaughtered, and there came out of me, all of those negative emotions, anger/hatred, deep resentment, self-pity, ego, false pride etc, all the sins of the past were "released" from my whole being and I just felt PEACE, LOVE and JOY. Arrogance belongs to Satan. It is only in HUMILITY that God's Holy Spirit can come and dwell in every cell of our bodies, in every fiber of our being, Aju!
Speaking of Sin, fallen natures and the like, personally, I think it's about time we re-write our dictionaries, erase Satan's vocabularies in this "age of God's direct dominion", in this "age after the Coming of Heaven". Instead of calling it "sin", let's just call it "immature act". Matured men like Jesus won't commit any sin. Sin, fallen natures and the like are acts/natures of IMMATURE, IGNORANT men.
As one matures and comes to KNOW, not just "believe" in the God of LOVE, he can never do anything that violates his heart, which is anchored in the very "Core of God's Heart". The fact is, God's OVERFLOWING, OVERWHELMING, OVER-INTOXICATING Love could melt away any sin, guilt, fallen nature, deep resentment or any negative emotion within man. The God of LOVE does not know any enemy.
When I reached the very Core of God's Heart, I've come to understand the heart of even my worst enemy, Satan himself. In the very Core of God's Heart, there's room even for the WORST Satan. Lucifer, is no longer an enemy for me. He's my dear Uncle who toiled with God in creating the Universe for man. I pray, let us ALL meet together in the Very Core of God's Heart.
