RE: Thank You for making the Three Generations Tour a Success and Revised English Family Pledge (Kajong Mengse)

Dear Family,

Thank you for the wonderful support and participation in the Three Generations World Peace Tour. True Parents were encouraged and uplifted by the attitude of attendance that by the American movement. True Mother is leading all three generations throughout the world to 480 cities with such a heart of love for all people. Please pray for True Mother and all of the True Family as True Parents sacrifice everything for heaven.

We thank you for keeping your standard of absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience in this age of Cheon Il Guk. This is an age in which Heavenly Father now dwells upon the Earth directly through True Parents. When the conditions are properly set through practicing True Love for one another and through Ahn Shi Il and Hoon Dok Hae God dwells with our families and in our homes. An essential aspect of keeping the An Shi Il tradition is the recital of the Family Pledge. Much of the deeper meaning of the Family Pledge had not been revealed at the time of its original English translation. Although the original translation was as accurate as possible in its time, new insights about the meaning of the Family Pledge have since been provided by Father. Based on these new revelations, many of which can be found in the Cheon Seong Gyeong, the English translation of the Family Pledge has been revised. Family Pledge should be recited in Korean and also should be understood and sometimes recited in English so that we fully understand the meaning. A new English translation can now be consulted for greater clarification. Click here for The new translation. (pdf)
