MEMORANDUM

To: All Leaders of FFWPU and all Related Organizations, All Blessed Central Families
From: Dr. Chang Shik Yang and Rev. Michael Jenkins
Date: July 31, 2006
RE: New Organization for America

True Parents continue to sacrifice tremendously to pour out God's true love and heart to all the nations of the world. Please pray for True Mother and True Family on this historic journey. Please also pray for peace in the Middle East; our next peace mission there will be in late September.

There is a new leadership structure centering on the Continental Director Dr. Chang Shik Yang and the President Dr. Michael Jenkins. The central purpose and focus for Family Federation now is to develop the Hoon Dok Family Church and witnessing through CARP, at the same time as other important providential initiatives move forward. We have begun a special 7 year course for America now, and we ask all American members to reach out to every blessed couple to help everyone make an offering at this time.

Special Leadership Appointment - Bishop Ki Hoon Kim has been appointed to the Executive Committee of Family Federation with the Continental Director and the President. He will also serve as the National Director of Religious Affairs to develop a Blessing movement centered on religious leaders. In addition, he will work with Rev. Levy Daugherty, Secretary General of ACLC, to expand the victorious ACLC model in Chicago to the nation.

Appointment of Senior Vice Presidents - Two key leaders have received special appointments as "Senior Vice Presidents". Rev. Dong Woo Kim, former Regional Director of New Jersey has been appointed "Senior Vice President  focused on witnessing and education. Rev. James Flynn has been appointed Senior Vice President for strategic planning and coordination of related organizations (he will continue in his other national roles as President of the American Family Coalition and Secretary General of UPF for America). They will report directly to the President and the Continental Director.

New System of Organization in America - To organize field operations more effectively, a new system of 12 districts will be introduced. These _districts  will be the primary unit of field organization, and will be comprised of one or more regions/states. The district directors will be drawn from senior Americans with considerable field leadership experience. In most cases, the districts will be organized into two or more regions. The planned district structure is as follows. (All regions will remain in place, though some have changes to state configuration. The exception is Upstate New York, which will return to the New York Region.)
