RE: Preparation of Candidates for True Parents’ Matching and Blessing, December 28, 2005

As you have heard, True Parents have announced the plan to hold a special matching and Blessing Ceremony for unmarried First and Second Generation members on December 28, 2005, to commemorate the victorious launching of the Universal Peace Federation and advance the realization of one human family and a world of peace through the Holy Blessing. This "Gyocha" Blessing Ceremony ("Gyocha" means crossing point or intersection) will emphasize the joining of couples from different races, cultures, and backgrounds. True Parents have asked for 1000 North American candidates to participate in this historic providence. In order to prepare well and achieve our responsibility, please consider the following guidelines. The initial international memo is attached, and further details will follow.

When Father introduced this Blessing in a meeting with Continental Directors, he described it as an expression of Heaven’s grace and victory, and referred to embracing those who had thus far fallen short or made mistakes. Therefore we expect a broader group of candidates to be welcomed for this historic event. The chance to be Blessed directly by True Parents is an increasingly rare and precious opportunity. As we work to further clarify the standards and guidelines for those who should participate, candidates from each of the categories mentioned below should prepare:

I. Who Should Participate / Prepare

A.. Single Second Generation candidates aged 17 and above as of December 28, 2005

1) Those who meet the qualifications for True Parents recent Cheon Il Guk matchings and Blessings (December, 2004, February & August, 2005) should absolutely participate. These are:

(a) Purity- never having kissed or dated

(b) Obedience – absolute acceptance of Father's match without question

(c) International Blessing – prepared to accept any race or nationality

(d) Innocence -No previous experience of being blessed and matched

(e) Health - Good health physically and mentally

(f) Seven day fast (3 day fast prior to match & commitment to fulfill soon if necessary)

2) Those who were matched last December, February or August, but their matching broke prior to being Blessed, should participate.

3) Those who were matched and Blessed in December, February or August, but their Blessing has been broken, should prepare. Further information will follow.

4) Those single candidates who have not fallen, though they may not meet the standard of never having kissed or dated, should prepare. Further information will follow.

B. Single First Generation candidates aged 17 and above as of December 28, 2005 (NOTE: aged 16 and above may be accepted from this category as long as their participation is acceptable according to their local marriage laws)

C. Second Generation candidates who have been matched by their parents should prepare to attend and be Blessed at this event. Final confirmation of their participation will follow SOON.

Additional guidelines will follow.

II. The Timetable for Matching & Blessing There will be three matching events prior to the December 28th Blessing, to be held by photo wherever True Father is in the world. 1st deadline: December 3rd, 2005

2nd deadline: December 15th, 2005
