Re: Peace Task Force Of 40 Required In Israel
Thanks for your sacrifice and faith at this time of Settlement and Attendance (Ahn Shi Il).
Peace Task Force:
40 must go to Israel from each of the three providential nations of Korea, Japan and America. (120 Total). We have had a number of people in the Holy Land representing America on the Peace Task Force, and it is important to have a full contingent at this time. Please note that this 40 member Peace Task Force is a separate group from the group of 500 that will be leaving in September fort the Pilgrimage.
We want to have 20 people who can leave within a week and stay for at least 28 days (4 weeks). (Two people are ready to go as this is written.) Dr. Yang has said that National Headquarters will cover airfare for these 20 who go immediately. All will stay in apartments or centers throughout the Holy Land. Home stays will be possible. The work will focus on supporting the World Peace Pilgrimage and doing follow-up with important leaders. (All are encouraged to stay for 3 months until the end of the Asian Pilgrimage in October.) Second generation who are high school graduates or older may apply.
Registration Process Regarding the Peace Task Force:
Please fax the registration forms to Jorg Heller in New York at 212-768-0791, or e-mail to email@example.com. He will coordinate communications with Jerusalem and provide further information on transportation.
Support for the Peace Task Force:
The support for the Peace Task Force Volunteers must come from the $300 donation every family is asked to make to support the Israel Providence.
Please refer to Dr. Yang's and Rev. Jenkins' National Memo: NHQ20040806 - August 6, 2004, "World Peace Pilgrimage - Donation Request"
