Dear Brothers and Sisters of Europe Region 1,

We just held a very successful European Cheon Il Guk Assembly in Otocec, Slovenia. The meeting concluded with all participants joining in making the "Otocec Resolution". This resolution (see below) connects directly with our True Parents’ central directions for this 7th year of Cheon Il Guk. Please make it the central focus of your prayers and activities through to True Parents’ Birthday in 2008.

I want to ask you all to whole-heartedly participate in this 40 day Cheon Song condition. It will take us through the 12,000 Peace Blessing Tour ending with the celebration of True Parents’ Day on 17th April (March 1st lunar calendar). True Father has indicated that the successful conclusion of this providence will spread True Parents’ foundation to every nation of the world through the Peace Messages - All the rallies held until that date will embrace the political and the religious fields and restore the mission of Christianity that was supposed to restore one hundred and twenty nations through the Roman Empire.

The number one issue in Europe at this time is the ending of the Schengen listing by the German Government. This matter is not just an external battle. Rather it expresses Satan’s desperate attempt to hold onto his foundation in Europe. If we do not succeed, the impact of the Schengen Treaty will spread to another nine European nations within this year. Our goal is for a total resolution before the first anniversary of the Opening of the Cheon Jeong Gung Peace Palace on 13th June 2007. The solution of this issue will impact the whole global providence and open the way to liberate our True Parents to freely enter many other key providential nations, such as Japan.

The German court hearing is fixed for 19th April. I am asking that all nations (or sub-Regions) organize a special 21 day condition of chain fasting and prayer from 30th March to 19th April. (Please report your plan to the European Office.)

I am also asking that every family regard the payment of this 27th Cheon Song money offering as a vital element in fulfilling the necessary condition to win the victory.

This year our True Parents should be welcomed in Germany without fail. We would like to welcome them in our European Training Centre in Camberg, the place that True Father has referred to as ‘Come Back’ and which has such providential significance for all of Europe. In recent years our German Movement has, with great effort, raised a large investment to restore Camberg. However further investment is needed to complete the work.

In the same way that we have come to see winning over the Schengen problem in each nation as a responsibility for Europe as a whole, I feel we should see the completion of Camberg as a European matter and not merely a German one. For that reason I am proposing that we offer our Cheon Song donation for these two purposes, both of which are connected to making the foundation to welcome our True Parents in Europe. Half of the Cheon Song donation will be dedicated to completing the restoration of Camberg as a ‘temple’ to receive the King and Queen of Peace and the other half will go towards the legal expenses we still face in resolving the Schengen problem.

Thank you all for your sacrifices and determined efforts during this past period. I sincerely and deeply appreciate them all. Please study and pray for the points of the "Otocec Resolution" as the means through which we can unite together as a Region and offer our best heart to support True Parents and True Children during this crucial 7th year of Cheon Il Guk. I am sure that we can look forward to many more opportunities to welcome them in 2007.

3. Develop the Universal Peace Federation as the Abel United Nations by:

a. Appointing 30 Ambassadors of Peace for each European Parliamentarian

b. Bringing 1200 national level Ambassadors of Peace to European Educational programs

c. Establishing National Peace Councils of 120 prominent Ambassadors for Peace, who actively promote UPF’s core goals and principles

4. Contribute to world peace through:

a. Developing the Balkan Peace Initiative

b. Supporting the Middle East Peace Initiative

5. Supporting True Children and the youth of the Unification Movement by:

a. Strengthening and developing a positive leadership culture from high school to university graduate level, through providing the best internal education and training

b. Building successful outreach programs based on key issues that are relevant in society

c. Appointing Youth Ambassadors for Peace

d. Preparing candidates for the Intercultural Exchange Marriage Blessing

6. Develop the Human and Financial Resources of our European Movement by:

a. Establishing successful ways to raise financial resources

b. Providing educational programs to inspire public commitment and effective leadership

c. Developing a core leadership and staff group in each nation which can meet the demands of the providence
