Chung Pyung Workshop for Miscarriages

Dear brothers and sisters,

Mrs. Soon Ja Richardson, Dae Mo Nim's assistant at Chung Pyung Lake, has informed me of a work that Dae Mo Nim is now performing in connection with the 8-14 generation ancestor liberation ceremony. This work has to do with miscarried fetuses. The couple, when they fill out the form for the 8-14 generation liberation, indicate the number of miscarriages they have suffered. They can make a freewill offering in connection with that. On that basis, Dae Mo Nim attends to resolving the status of those unborn spirits, which she locates under the name of their parents in spirit world. They indeed are not alive, having not breathed in the physical world. However, as the theology of the three stages of life attests, they have some identity and history that remain in spirit world. Mrs. Richardson used the term "a cleaning process" for what Dae Mo Nim does.

This work began after Dae Mo Nim's conducting the 8-14 generation liberation ceremonies in the United States, so none of us had the opportunity to participate in this at that time. If and when she comes here again, she will offer this to us.

I regret that, due to my misunderstanding of an earlier conversation with Mrs. Richardson, I gave some people the impression that Dae Mo Nim brings these miscarried fetuses to the fullness of life in spirit world. It reflects both a genuine misunderstanding and also wishful thinking on my part, I suppose, but is not true.
