The Words of the Franklin Family |
Two Ambassadors for Peace (and Family Federation members), Måns and Luz Marina Anderfelt, are developing a project to support emerging Colombian artists and promote the cause of peace.
They have brought a number of original paintings (mostly in acrylics) to the UK for two days of exhibiting and also for sale – to take place at Livingstone House in Chislehurst.
Proceeds will be split equally between the artists and the Livingstone Center for Spirituality and the Arts (a project of FFWPU Bromley).
On the first day, Saturday 26 Jan, there will be a talk on the project from Luz and Måns at 3.30 pm. Cream Teas will be available after. The paintings will be auctioned by a process of sealed bids submitted throughout viewing period – the winning bid being announced at 5.30 pm. The process will be repeated on the Sunday for all unsold paintings, although the entire body of work will be on display until 6pm on the Sunday, after which time paintings will be available for collection. Come to view, come to buy.
"The exhibition speaks about the resilience, vitality, spirituality and love without which the people of Colombia would have had to struggle even more to survive the climate of violence in their beautiful country during the last fifty years."
