We held a small but very beautiful Blessing ceremony in the London HQ. 9 couples received the Blessing, officiated by Pastor Franklin and Cecilie Fortune. The guests came from the London communities and the West Country.
Directly before the Blessing many of the guests attended a Blessing seminar taught by Rev. David Hanna, who also gave an introduction talk before the Holy Wine ceremony. Three of the participants led an interfaith prayer representing Islam, Hinduism and Christianity. The participants then followed the ceremony by way of a video of the previous night's ceremony held in Chung Pyung, Korea officiated by our True Parents – from their entrance, through their prayer, the Holy Water ceremony, declaration and proclamation of the Blessing and the Blessing vows.
The ceremony closed with song and inspiring congratulatory addresses by Dr. Joy Phillippou MBE and Mrs. Sharma, who received the Blessing last year.
Flowers were presented to True Parents and the Blessing cake was cut.
Some 40 Blessed members supported the participants throughout the ceremony.
