New Kidnap victim in Japan

I want to give you a quick update on the situation of our fight against religious kidnapping in Japan.

I was informed today of a new victim... Ms SS. She is 33, from Okegawa City, Saitama Prefecture She began to study the Divine Principle in 2003 and became an active member the following year.

She participated in the Blessing Ceremony in October 2010 and married a Korean man. Their marriage has not been legally registered yet, however.

Ms SS has missing since Feb 25th, 2011. Please pray for her.

I believe our prayers plus the recent strong activities of the Japanese church on behalf of kidnap victims are the main reason that over the last couple of years, the "return rate" of kidnap victims has risen from less than 33 percent to around 50 percent.

In a related case, one of our members was recently arrested for "stalking" because he was trying to get in touch with his fiance. He is going to fight the charges. More on this later. But one thing is clear: the anti-Unification Church lawyers group sense that we have taken the offensive now, and is trying to strike back.

In the meantime, if you haven't done so already please check out the main article on www.religiousfreedom.com about the persecution of our members by authorities at major Universities.

This article is by a non-Unification Church writer from a non-Unification Church publication. A second installment will be published soon.
