Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you for all of your prayers and support in helping to make last night's "Celebration Banquet Honoring the Publication of the Autobiography of Rev. Sun Myung Moon" such an overwhelming success. Over 1600 people attended at the Sheraton National Hotel to celebrate this historic occasion with our True Parents and True Children. There were 250 representatives from the ambassador and diplomatic community in Washington, D.C., as well as over 250 members of the clergy, Ambassadors for Peace and elected officials. The main ballroom where Father delivered his message was completely packed to overflowing with hundreds of guests representing all faiths and areas of society, including many international guests.

Mr. Tom McDevitt, president of the Washington Times, served as the Master of Ceremonies. Rev. In Jin Moon, President of the Unification Church of America and senior pastor of Lovin' Life Ministries, gave beautiful welcoming remarks, attesting to the success of her father's autobiography in Korea and marking its publication here in America. The Lovin' Life Band entertained the audience during dinner. Congratulatory remarks were offered to our True Parents, the guests of honor, by distinguished representatives in the fields of religion, politics and the media.

For this occasion, a special introductory edition of the autobiography in English was presented to everyone who attended. Rev. Hyung Jin Moon, International President of the worldwide Unification Church, brought his father to the stage with a moving introduction. Father then read from his speech and also freely had give and take with the audience, often in a very personal way, keeping everyone inspired and involved until the end of the night.

Seven books representing True Father's words were presented to 7 religious and civic leaders. Finally, True Parents were joined by True Children on stage and In Jin Nim was asked by True Mother to sing. Father, Mother and In Jin Nim sang "Amazing Grace" together, and then everyone joined them in 3 cheers of "Oak Mansei".to conclude this historic evening.

Thank you again to all who contributed toward making the banquet celebration a great victory.

(Since this was a private event by invitation only, we would like to respect all those who were in attendance and ask that no pictures or video taken at the banquet be placed on public websites or shared in any public way.)

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Rev. Joshua Cotter
