Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)

Due to the fall of man, I became 'I' who is not me. That's why we have to restore my original being. We have to find ourselves who are not fallen and are connected to God.

God has shown us the ways to subjugate all Satanic elements within ourselves in order to save us. We have to know how God is working to have us go this road by looking at the lives of Jacob, Moses and Jesus.

So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. (Exod. 2:24)

So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months. (Exod. 2:2)

The Israelites multiplied and grew even under the rule of Egypt. A new Pharaoh of Egypt was afraid that the Israelites might join his enemies and fight against Egypt. He then made the lives of the children of Israel bitter with hard bondage and ordered new babied be killed. At that time, Moses, leader of Israel, was born and he grew up as the prince of Egypt under God's protection, receiving an education from his own mother who was hired as his nurse (Ex. 1:10-22, 2:7)

So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. (Exod. 2:12)

With Moses' act of killing an Egyptian who ill-treated his brethren, God commenced the course of restoration into Canaan on the national level. However, when they saw Moses kill the Egyptian, they misunderstood him and badly publicized the fact. Then, Moses was compelled to escape from Pharaoh and fled to the wilderness of Midian (Ex. 2:15)

Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, "When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, 'Show a miracle for yourselves, , , "(Exod. 7:8-9)

"Moses, Moses!" And he said, "I am here." (Exod. 3:4)

The Israelite had to lead more difficult lives and God's plan of salvation was prolonged to another forty years. God called Moses one more time. God gave Moses the power of three great miracles and ten calamities, and told him to bring forth the Israelite out of Egypt.

And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years-on that very same day-it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. (Exod. 12:41)

And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. (Exod. 13:21)

The Israelites went forward, under God's protection, toward Canaan, which flowed with milk and honey, as God had said.

. . . the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. (Exod. 14:21)

. . . have you taken us away to idle in the wilderness? . . . For it would have been better for us to serve Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness. (Exod. 14:11-12)

However, the Israelites complained to Moses when they saw Pharaoh's soldiers chasing right after them. They were asking to go back to Egypt.

Lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. (Exod. 14:16)

Th Israeli descendants crossed the Red Sea. God led them into the land of Canaan not through the direct route by the land of the Philistines, but through the Red Sea and a detour by way of the wilderness of Sinai "lest the people repent when they see war, and return to Egypt" (Ex. 13:17).

So it was that quails came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp. (Exod. 16:13)

God fed the people of Israel with manna and quail.

So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses' anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain. (Exod. 32:19)

Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called Moses out of the midst of the cloud. (Exod. 24:16)

God called Moses to the summit of Mount Sinai and told him to fast for 40 days and 40 nights so that he might receive the Ten Commandments written on the tablets of the stone (Ex. 31:18).

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the tablets of the stone, the people of Israel were worshiping the golden calf as the god which led them out of Egypt (Ex. 32:4). Moses's anger burned how when he saw this, and he threw the tablets to the ground and broke them at the foot of the mountain (Ex. 32:19)

And the Lord said to Moses, "Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke." (Exod. 34:1)

When Moses had finished fasting 40 days and 40 nights the second time according to God's words, God again gave him the Ten Commandments written on the tablets (Ex. 34:28). When Moses again appeared before the Israelites with the tablets of the stone, the people ministered to Moses; and they, then, built the ark and the tabernacle to serve God (Ex. 35:10-12).

So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the word of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. (Exod. 34:28)

What do the tablets of stone signify? Adam and Eve, due to the fall, lost the Word. The fact that Moses received the two tablets of stone with the words written on them signifies that Adam and Eve, long lost in the Satanic world, were restored as the symbolic incarnation of the Word. It also symbolized Jesus and he Holy Spirit, who would later come as the incarnation of the Word.

Jesus is described as "a white stone" (Rev. 2:17) and "that Rock was Christ" (1 Cor. 10:4)

The fact that Moses received the two tablets of stone with the words written on them means that the age, in which men, due to the fall, contacted God only through offerings, had passed; and men had entered the age, in which fallen men could contact God through the words.

Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. (Ex. 19:20)

Next , what is the significance of the tabernacles?

But He was speaking of the temple of His body. (John 2:21) Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Cor. 3:16)

As the Bible says, the temple is the representation in image of Jesus himself. The tabernacle was the symbolic representation of Jesus himself. It was symbolic Messiah whom the people of Israel attended in the wilderness.

Let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. (Ex. 25:8)

Then what was the ark? The ark was that of God's covenant. In the ark, there was manna, which had been the food of life for the Israelites in their course in the wilderness, and symbolized Jesus' body. The manna was contained in a golden urn that symbolized the glory of God. Also included was Aaron's rod that budded, which showed God's power to the Israelites (Heb. 9:4). In this respect, the ark was the condensed body of the tabernacle. The construction of the tabernacle meant that the Messiah had already come, symbolically.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock. . . (Ex. 17:6)

The Israelites had to obey Moses until they entered the land of Canaan. However, they all listened to the faithless reports of the ten persons, excluding Joshua and Caleb, whom God had chosen to spy on the land of Canaan for 40 days. The Israelites murmured against Moses and cried in lamenatation.

How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs whih I have performed among them? (Num. 14:11)

Accordingly, the plan to enter Canaan within 21 months failed and the Israelites ended up wandering in the wilderness for another 40 years.

According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forth days, for each day you shall near your guilt one year, namely forty years, and you shall know mt rejection. (Num. 14:34)

During the 40-year period of wandering in the wilderness, the Israelites could have entered Canaan by following Moses with faith. However, when they arrived at Kadesh-barnea, they distrusted God who, at Rephidim, commanded Moses to strike the rock at Horeb so that water should come out of it for people to drink (Ex.17:6). Instead, the Israelites murmured in resentment against Moses for having no water.

I pray, let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan, those pleasant mountains, and Lebanon. (Deut. 3:25) Enough of that! Speak no more to Me of this matter. (Deut. 3:26) Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock? (Num. 20:10)

Moses was raged in such an anger that he struck the rock twice with his rock. However, , ,

Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this congrregation into the land which I have given them. (Num. 20:12)

God prevented them from entering Canaan. Why did He curse?

Christ is symbolized as a white stone (Rev. 2:27) and he came as the Tree of Life (Rev. 22:14). In the Garden of Eden, Satan struck Adam, who was supposed to become the Rock. Due to the fall, Adam failed to become the Rock that would yield the "water of life." Accordingly, God planned to make the rock, by striking only once, which can bring water from it. But Moses' act of striking the rock the second time established a condition which enabled Satan to invade Jesus if ans when the Israelites would ever fall into faithlessness later. That's why God could not forgive Moses' act.

Therefore, Joshua in place of Moses made a preparation on the national level to enter Canaan and receive the Messiah by leading the Israelites with absolute faith and loyalty.

John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism pf repentance for the remission of sins. (Mark 1:4)

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he wil turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse. (Mal. 4:5-6)

However, the Israelites, having entered Canaan, again fell into faithlessness, and Elijah had to come again in order to have the chosen people united.

He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, "to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children." and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make rady a people prepared for the Lord. (Luke 1:17)

The prophet who came as Elijah as is written in the Bible was John the Baptist, who was born as a son of Zechariah, a chief priest (Luke 1:13). He was the very man who had to make a preparation to make straight the way of the Messiah. Because of the signs and miracles at the time of his birth and his brilliant career of asceticism, the chief priest and all the Jewish people (Luke 3:15) asked John the Baptist if he were the Messiah.

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. (Matt. 4:1)

And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No." (John 1:21)

John the Baptist, who stood before the Jewish peolple in the position of Moses, failed to fulfill his mission of Elijah. John failed to carry out his mission of serving and ministering to Jesus. He should have led the Jewish people and brought them to Jesus.

Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteem Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. (Isaiah 53:4)

Since John the Baptist became faithless, Jesus had to make a preparation by himself to come forward as the Messiah. He had to suffer the 40-day fast in the wilderness and the three great temptations.

Then a voice came from heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Mark. 1:11) If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. (Matt. 4:3)

To this temptation, Jesus answered; It is written,

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." (Matt. 4:4)

Jesus meant that, even if man's physical body may have life by eating bread, he cannot enjoy a wholesome life with that alone. Man can become wholesome if, in addition, he lives by Christ, who came as the incarnation of God's Word and as man's food of life. Jesus, by overcoming the first temptation, restored the positon of the Messiah, the substantial body of word for the entire mankind and laid the foundation for the restoration of God's first blessing.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of GOd dwells in you? (1 Cor. 3:16) If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. (Matt. 4:4-5)

Jesus answered to Satan's second temptation saying,

"You shall not tempt the Lord your God." (Matt. 4:7)

This was asking Jesus to throw himself down from the position of master to that of a fallen man and to stop restoring the saints as the branch temple. By overcoming his second temptation, Jesus, who came as the main temple and the True Parent of mankind, set up the condition enabling him to restore all the saints to the position of his branch temples and true children, thus creating the foundation for the restoration of God's second blessing.

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except throuth Me. (John 14:6) All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me. (Matt. 4:9)

Jesus answered this, saying,

"You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve." (Matt. 4:10)

Jesus, who came in the capacity of a perfected Adam, was the dominator of all the creation, since it is written that God put all things in subjection under Christ (1 Cor. 15:27). Due to the fall, Adam lost his authority as the master of all creation, being dominated by Satan, and naturally Satan became the dominator of all creation. Therefore, Satan led Jesus to a mountain top, putting him in the position of the master of all things, and then tempted him in order that Jesus might yield before him. However, Jesus, who already overcome the first two temptations, overcame the third temptation to restore his dominion over the whole world of creation, through which he established the foundation for the restoration of God's third blessing.

But now you seek to kill Me,a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. (John 8:40) But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed. (John 7:49)

The Jewish people, centering on the chief priest and scribes who had fallen faithless, betrayed Jesus and led him to the crucifixion.

I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me. (John 5:43)

Paul lamented over the ignorance if the people who crucified Jesus, saying:

Which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (1 Cor. 2:8)

The ignorance of the Jewish people finally compelled Jesus to take the way of crucifixion. They failed to recognize him.

Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? . . . Feed My lambs. (John 21:15) And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. (John 3:14)

As it is recorded in the verse, God had no choice other than having Jesus be lifted up on the cross.

God sent the Messiah to save the entire mankind, which is to restore the purpose of creation. And Satan planned to kill that Messiah.

To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. (Acts 1:3)

Jesus resurrected three days after his death and worked spiritually on his disciples scattered in Galilee. He once suddenly appeared in a closed room where his disciples were gathered (Jojn 20:19), while in anothe instance he appeared before two disciples going to Emmaus, and accompanied them for a long distance (Luke 24:15-16).By the disciples' believing and following him, the resurrected Jesus could finally stand as the spiritual Messiah.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) . . . And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind. . .(Acts 2:1-4)

After the advent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the resurrected Jesus bacame the spiritual True Father and, working in oneness with the Holy Spirit as the spiritual True Mother, bagan the work of spiritual rebirth.

The saints could accomplish only the spiritual restoration of Canaan by believing and serving Jesus, who came to stand as the spiritual MEssiah.

I thank God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. (Rom. 7:25)

Accordingly, Jesus should come again in order to do both spiritual and physical salvation. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in righteousness and the true holiness. (Eph. 4:23-24)

The Lord of the Second Advent should make the entire mankind as God's true children by grafting them to True Parents both spiritually and physically. If the Christians, who have been set up as the Second Israel for the ideal of the erection of the Kingdom of Heaven by the Lord of the Second Advent, should also turn against him, God will be compelled to anandon His erect of the Second Israel and choose anew His erect of the Third Israel.

Since man's disbelief caused God's plan of restration to be prolonged, man's absoulte belief in and obedience to the Messiah only can realize the salvation.

Therefore, we of the Last Days are situated in very blessed circumstance, but on the other hand, are in the position wherer they are liable to become very miserable.
