(Day of the Celebration of Victory)

The Day of the Celebration of Victory was declared in America on July 1 1973. It has the providential meaning of the joyful day when the suffering heart  (han) of Jesus was healed.

"I established the Day of Celebration of Victory, a historic commemorative day, on July 1, 1973, in America. Up to now, several Holy Days have been established in Korea, but this is the first time a day to celebrate victory has been established in the world. Do you understand? This is a day of making a new beginning in the history of the Unification Church. The Day of Celebration of Victory could be established since the first half of the second seven-year course has been well accomplished. We are celebration this day because we have crossed over the hill of the three year period.
