Forty-Nation World Tour

President Hak Ja Han Moon carried out a forty-nation world tour from November 2 through December 22, 1993.

Mrs. Moon followed a grueling itinerary connecting the former Soviet Union, Western Europe, the Eastern Bloc, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Asserting that the most essential thing for the salvation of modern society, currently facing and emergency due to adultery, drugs and the deterioration of the family, is to discover the true love of God, to meet the True Parents and to recover the values of a true family, she created a sensation throughout the world.

The speeches were enthusiastically received in each country. Congratulatory messages were sent by present and former heads of state, and by prominent scholars. Notables from diverse callings, including representatives of women's organizations, attended the speeches, thereby creating the opportunity to urge those influencing public opinion to initiate a movement to restore religious and moral values.
