Life Experience Workshop in Taiwan leads to Service Initiatives

Campus Clean Up

Our fallen nature is like dust--we need to clean our spirits at every moment. God's words are like a broom to clean the dust from our minds. We kept this motto in mind as we worked. Sometimes we can see some people with expressionless face to passing by, but other people joined us, brought some drinks to us and were interesting in who we are. Our volunteers felt happy to serve others, even through a small area--pay love forward.

Disabled Club
The local campus disabled association involves about 60-70 disabled people. Through sending gifts, and organizing activities, Taiwan CARP volunteers served them. Through this experience we learned that it's important to cherish what we have and develop our potential ability. Love cannot be gained in the classroom but only experience can bring growth.

Professors, Students Unite  in Japan

Tetsuo Omorai

In line with our policy to reach out and work together with all the stakeholders on campus, including students, administration, faculty and parents, World CARP Japan is creating a new initiative to develop an academic network together with the Professors' World Peace Academy. From now on, graduate CARP students and professors will attend Sunday service together once a month and develop friendships.
At a recent workshop, President Matsunami asked the professors to support and encourage graduate students in the same study field, and to study Godism academically and give presentations. They should also take the initiative to share updated information from the school administration and develop a joint response.

The professors and the students also discussed common concerns such as how to strike a balance between faith and study, and how to contribute to the providence through creating and supporting local Service for Peace initiatives.
